We have a huge magnet we got from Disney one year on our fridge " Been There Done That Going Back"....well here are things we have done and not doing again

Disney Quest....wasted money imho....went once yaesrs ago..never again

Prime Time.....was not a relaxing meal, maybe the cm was over indulged in her job but the constant hounding, arms off table, hat off, finish your green beans, etc a little too much for me

San Angel in Mexico...food was horrible

Stitch.....nothing to it! Boring!...

Backlot Tour ( do they even have that still?)...I know they could have done more with that...again..Boring

Bout You????

We had the same experience there, but I have been told, by many, I am an intimidating person, guess it is my military background. So after one to many comments to my son, wife and I. I just looked at the CM and he immediately stopped.

As for me I will never do another Disney cruise or any cruise, it was the worst vacation I have ever been on.

Yak and Yetti quick service. The orange chicken was just fried, with crappy sauce slighty poured over it. I was not impressed AT ALL.

I would skip Small World. Once was enough.

Peter Pan's Flight was also a bit unimpressive to me, so it's unlikely I would do that one again.

Prime Time, the CM was doing her job. I have sometimes asked for them to tone it down or stop and every CM has complied without a problem.

Food at San Angel and elsewhere, thank the DP, especially "Free Dining". For some reason Chef's and Liberty Tree have kept up the quality and service I have experience for many years.

hahah guys! That's the WHOLE POINT of the Prime Time 50's Cafe. The interaction! If you're not into it, you should DEFINITELY go somewhere else. You need to walk in there being prepared to fully interact and maybe even be sent to a corner.

One "never again" for me would just be going in the summer if I can avoid it. Of our 5 trips, 2 have been in January, one was December and one was October. JUNE was the worst. Although it was early June and crowd levels and temps weren't at their summer highs, I still felt miserable a lot of the time. It was SO hot especially in EPCOT, and the lines were longer than I had been used to in my previous January trips, plus there were bugs, and lots more kids.

Mad Tea Party. I had to do it because it is so quintessential Disney but :hurl:.

Ride with one other person. Look directly at their face. Do not look away. You can then spin to your hearts content without any problems. One never do. Do NOT spin in one direction, make a quick stop and then spin in the other direction.

We don't go to 50's PT for the same reason. We've been there - enjoyed the food and the joking around. But my fiance would not enjoy it. He hates paying people to screw around with him.

Not arguing with you, but I did not see that on the menu or sign posted in front of the resturant.

Star Wars Weekends.....while it was AWESOME, it was terrible at the same time. Just too much going on with 3 kids in tow. It felt like we had to sqeeze in everywhere we went in Hollywood Studios. Another personal 'never do again' would be to try to hit parks on back-to-back days with the kids. They need a break between....so do Mom & Dad!

brightlillstar, so you didn't expect it to be hot in june with lots ok kids ( no school) MAYBE if you don't like idea of hot weather and lots of kids you shouldn't plan for the summer! AND I know its their job to put on that act but most know when to stop before irratating the guest.

It's in every guidebook. On the disneyworld.com website, it's even under "Special and Unique dining" and the description says:
"Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food."

I would expect people to do a little planning before leaving home, and if you don't and something's not what you expect, you have yourself to blame. However, I'd love to see the looks on people's faces who are NOT expecting it.

MK:
Stitch - AE was far better.
Swiss Family Tree House - not really worth the time.
Country Bear Jamboree - It is just something that I find mind numbing.

AK:
Maharajah Jungle Trek - If I wanted to go to a zoo then I'd go across the river to Louisville. :)

DHS:
Sounds Dangerous - wth is this even still doing here?
American Idol Experience - Is this really still that popular?
Journey into Narnia - ???? ????

EPCOT:
Maelstrom - No offense to the Norwegians but I'd almost rather get kicked between the legs and be shut off like a light than to ride this thing again.
O'Canada - (see above)

Unfortunately my boyfriend and friends (all grown men) think it's HILARIOUS to make it spin really fast while I scream. I will finally have a female friend on my next trip. Maybe I'll try riding with her.

I knew it would be hot, and that there would be kids and longer lines. I went at that time because we were visiting other relatives in FL. Not having experienced it before, I didn't know how miserable it would be. Having ONLY had experienced Disney in January with cool-warm weather and the longest line being 20 min for Space Mountain, it was a huge contrast. I thought "eh, it's just heat and longer lines. I'll always enjoy Disney World"...

Well this was back in 2001 and our first trip. I did not worry about knowing that much details. I was going for a fun vacation. Back then I did not even know they had guides, and the internet site was not that detailed back then.

The first (and only) time I rode Alien Encounter I seriously had to keep telling myself "it's only a ride..it's only a ride" because it was terrifying!

Stitch just makes me want to vomit with that smell..and I don't think they accomplished their goal of making it more kid friendly. I think it still terrifies kids.

DisneyQuest is the one thing that comes to mind immediately. I remember loving it as a kid, when the attraction was still new. Now, a lot of it seems dated and I barely spent an hour there. It's tough to find a nice arcade, and I was disappointed to see it so poorly maintained.
