Be aware that rooms at BCV are not as nice as some of the other DVCs. They really need to be renovated.

What room you are assigned will ultimately depend on the view you've chosen, but the laundry room is on the fourth floor. If that is a factor, request fourth floor. Also, if you get a room near the back elevator, it is really easy to get to the pool (quiet pool, not main one). But if you'd rather shorten your walk to the other pool and bus stops, ask for one closer to the main elevators. Whatever you choose!

We just stayed in a studio in June and loved it. The rooms are small and nothing special (I agree that they need a refurb), but we were perfectly comfortable (2 adults and 2 kids). The proximity to WS made it worth every penny IMO.
This is a handy guide: http://www.parkinfo2go.com/dvc-bcv/

We had a woods view room on the 3rd floor right by the elevator and were able to see some of the higher fireworks during Illuminations. If I could choose any room, I'd probably go with one of the Epcot view rooms on the 4th or 5th floor. I personally would not want to be on the first floor in the villas. Lots of people walking by the rooms day and night on both sides of the building.

I've read others say that the BCV rooms need to be refurbished, but our 2-bedroom in August was in perfect condition. We were near the back elevator on the 2nd floor. The view was of the quiet pool and canal. It was beautiful.
