Is the dinner at be our guest a table service or quick service? If so with the disney dining plan is it 1 table service per guest or 2? The website says it 1 quick service, but it also says to make reservations and that it is a formal dinner!

While I am sure someone more qualified than me can responde to the Dining Plan issue, Be Our Guest is actually both kinds. It's quick serivce during lunch and table service for dinner.

I believe it's only one table service credit, as it's not a Signature dining option.
@darthspielberg is correct lunch cs dinner ts and one credit for each meal! Book as early as possible it fills extremely quickly!! Sometimes at the 180 day mark by 8am eastern!

Or even sooner! We just tried to book at 180+10 at 7am and ended up with 8pm dinner! Not in our original plans, but plans are now adjusted and we are looking forward to our late dinner!

Wow. Looks like I'll be on at Midnight then for mine. I just have to eat here. Beauty and the Beast was one of the first movies I saw in theaters as a kid, so to be able to go into Beast's castle? Well, I can't wait. I'll probably eat their a few times I can manage it.

Online ADRs do not open until 6:00 AM eastern and 7:00 AM over the phone.

Can you request a specific room? Or will they assign one to you based on availability?
You can request, but as of late it seems like you are going to get the next table regardless.

I'll answer this for you in a songful, cheerful manner: "Be our guest, be our guest, put our dinner table service to the test"...... 1 Table service credit for dinner and 1 Quick Service credit for lunch as of right now. One day I think It'll change to 2 TS credits for dinner since it's becoming such a popular place to dine at. Formal dinner, never seen or heard of that mentioned. I haven't seen people wear formal attire other than park execs.

So I should plan on getting our dining reservations at 6am on the 180 day mark? Or can I do it before that?

Geez 6am dinner, never heard that before but I know what you meant to post. Can't make any reservations before the 180 day mark, so on 180 days away from your vacation, you might seriously want to consider booking any time available of your choice if you want to dine in this fantasyland restaurant.

Any suggestions on which the best room is (or in the least, which room(s) to avoid?
The west wing is what everyone wants. It is also the smallest room in the place. While it is pretty cool in there, guests are constantly traipsing in and out of it. All it takes is one guest who considers his picture of the rose more important than you dinner to ruin your night.

I actually really liked dining in the ballroom. The West Wing had so much foot traffic from people seated in the ballroom coming in to take a look, plus it was so dark, I was much more happy to pop in and then head back out to the ballroom for my meal.

How small is small? Ten tables or thirty tables?
