Hello all. Has anyone started their DCL cruise from Barcelona? We are on the Magic leaving June 4. We are not flying into Barcelona, so we will have our luggage and staying the night of the 3rd in a local hotel. Any suggestions on where to stay the night before? What is departure like? What time (how early) can we check-in or drop off luggage?

Hi Chet.

I've sailed out of Barcelona, but it was in 2007. I honestly don't know much about current boarding protocols, especially with Covid thrown into the mix. What I can tell you is that when we sailed, DCL offered a couple of hotel options that we could add on to our reservation. So it might be worth your time to talk to DCL or your travel agency and see if Disney has any hotel rooms set aside in town.
