Audio Loop Collection - Trying to Recoup

Many moons ago (12 years maybe?) someone here generously mentioned they had an audio loop collection and DM'd me for my address. One day a box showed up with 3 giant CD spindle stacks. The paper track list had to be 30 pages.

Unfortunately due to a series of events my hard drive failed and water damage destroyed the CD's.

I can't access messages from that long ago and a long shot...trying to either track that member or looking to access some audio loops again if anyone is feeling generous.

12 years of joy from those files but shame on me for poor data management.

Man, I’m genuinely sorry to hear that.

Hopefully people see this thread and eventually we find the person.

Don’t be so hard on yourself. I deleted my Spotify a year ago and lost 5,000+ songs.

I’ve since built a better library.

Maybe this is an opportunity to explore new music too.

Gotta look on the bright side because you can’t blame yourself for this, ya know?
Absolutely a long shot but I figured it's worth the try!

I'm going to try to find torrents, maybe? I have not downloaded musically illegally in ages since streaming came around.

I was a Napster king in 1998 (8th grade!)

Yes, a friend of mine who is a computer engineer and super savvy tried his best but it was a total failure.
I’m sorry…I had a hard drive go bad due to a power surge and failure of the surge protector that had family photos on it…they want almost 2k to retrieve the photos…I didn’t do it but I kept the drive…now I back everything up to the cloud.

I remember some early 2010s blog had posted albums for individual Epcot pavilions. Some of those may still be floating around online.

But this was new to me: a few months ago someone uploaded the 1980s Universe of Energy exterior background loop. Judging from the comments, it was behind a theme park music paywall and this person went rogue and put it up for anyone. It’s a fun listen!

The music came from here: https://www.epcotlegacy.com/music/energy/fwss

The site owner remasters existing audio and sometimes sources "new" old audio with connections he's made. In this case, Josh found/was given this loop which was previously lost media, but does not offer a way to download the music from his site anymore to avoid legal trouble with Disney. Someone must have downloaded the audio anyway and then posted it on YouTube. Probably would have been nice to give credit where this came from as it only would have come from one source as far as I'm aware.

Thanks for explaining
