The good news is that the league has given in and will be letting NBC and CBS affiliates carry the Patriots/Giants game so everyone will be able to watch it, not just those with the NFL Network.

NFL @ Cable Companies.

Through the first half...

Cable Companies - 1

The problem is that they will be using NFL play by play feed, so you will be getting Bryant Gumbel instead of a real announcer.

You know the Cowboys and Redskins game may be more important than I though. I was hearing that Dallas never went 14-2 in the regular season before, so this will be a first, if we beat the Redskins :king:

Though if the Redkins get beat, they can still get in the playoffs if the Vikings and Saints get beat lol

Right, but I meant...they still control their own destiny. As of right now, they aren't relying on another team to get them into the playoffs. They'd much rather win to get in...than have to sit back and wait for a team to lose.

Yes I know what you mean.

Also the Saints game will allready be over or getting over by the time the Cowboys and Redskins start to play,so if the Saints win, we will know for sure that the Redskins need to win. If the Saints get beat, I bet the Redkins crowds will go nuts just as I am sure they will go nuts if they keep hearing that the Vikings are getting beat (the Vikings play when the Redkings play) >

All I can say is, the NFL really needs to get some better announcers....If they end up conceding to the cable networks and offering NFL as a pay channel, I wouldnt pay extra for it with these two calling games....

I have the power to see into the future :)

Okay after New England got a touch down and went up 10 to 7, I said to myself " maybe on the next kickoff the Giants will run it all the way back for a touchdown " and that is just what happend :ROFLOL: This is the first time that this has ever happend to me

Have you tried to pick up a radio station that might have that game. I like to listen to football games on the radio and even if I have it on tv I still sometimes try to find it on the radio. There is just something I like about a football game on the radio :)

I agree that food radio announcers for sports is an art form. They have to be great at describing action in real time where the TV announcers have the benefite of people watching the action and just adding fluff to the picture.

Yes you are right and that must be one reason why I like football on the radio so much. Also I feel more like I am there when I hear it on the radio then on tv, because the crowd noise just feel more there if you know what I mean.

If the 2 round playoffs I will have to listen to the Dallas playoff game on the radio (whoever they will play), because I will be in DisneyWorld and not sure if I want to go back to the hotel to watch the game. Maybe I could try at the ESPN eating place at Boardwalk during this time hmmmmmmm (I have never eaten there)

Collinsworth is a pretty good analyst. Gumbel is just AWFUL--always has been. At least it's a good game tonight.

ESPN Club is one of our favorite places to eat, but you better get there early if you want a seat to watch the game.

Fantastic Game!

Nailbiter right until the end...that's what you like to see.

I got worried when I saw Brady pulling off his jersey on the sideline!

60 minutes of football was prepared for...and both teams played all 60 minutes of it.

Also, aside from the obvious jersey number errors...the officiating was pretty good tonight.
(As far as the announcers go...New York had used it's 3rd T.O. of the first half...and Gumbel said, "Well, the Giants have used their last timeout of the game." Whuh???)

Congratulations...now let's get this "Perfect Season, record breaking" headlines behind us and move on to the playoffs with a clean slate.

You know I think I will do that and eat there. I booked 2 sit down meals at the Resorts by Epcot, but I might cancel one so I can eat at ESPN and watch a Dallas playoff game

Dallas will need to win that game to get to the NFC Championship for a chance to be NFC Championships for the 9th time. This will be an important game for me.

After all why not. I have been wanting to eat at ESPN for a while now, so why not let the first time be a playoff game with the Dallas Cowboys in it :king:

I will be going back in DisneyWorld for the Super Bowl, but I think I will just watch the Super Bowl at my hotel room. But I will see what ESPN is like on the 12th or 13th of January. If Dallas goes to the Super Bowl, I might go back to ESPN to watch the Super Bowl there, but not sure.
