This is the first time this season I should have sat Brady and played Philip Rivers. Yeah like I would have ever done that anyway. :lol:Oh well he can't get me 50 points every week. At least the Def. got me a td. I think McNabb has lost his starting job.:drevil:

At least the Eagles gave them a game last night. Perhaps Pittsburgh will study the game tape hard because they are about the only team left that will give them a game this season.

They really need to close up that hole in the middle of the field. T.O.P...is key to defeating the Patriots. Keep Brady on the sidelines and take Moss and Welker out of the game.

That was a nailbiter and it's fantastic...I like close ones MUCH better than blowouts.

I do too, except when it's my team and then I love them winning in blowout fashion.

Did anyone see the Broncos-Bears game yesterday? I watched the last ten minutes (essentially I saw the Bears turn a 34-20 deficit into a 37-34 win) and there was one small thing that bothered me. The interference call on Dre Bly with about 2.5 minutes left seemed really ticky tack to me and without that call (it happened on a 4th and ten) the Bears lose and the last few minutes would have been boring. But, here's the thing, without that call, someone who is not a fan of either team (me) would have changed the channel. It just had kind of a random piece of litter on the track, bunch all the cars up for the last few laps, NASCAR feeling to me.

Yeah? If the damn Patriots would have just scored 3 or 4 touchdowns in first quarter, the result would have been the same . . . except I wouldn't be so bleary eyed this morning.:p

Close ones are fun when you win. They're more annoying than blowouts when you lose.

My opinion is different...because at least if it's a close one...you actually showed some hope.

I know what you mean though...I'm feeling it this morning...usually when the Pats play I can go to bed at halftime
Last night, I went to bed with 11 seconds left on the clock :lookaroun

BTW...how DARE they put Brady in on the last play! :lookaroun

I'm wondering if I should just change my signature now to reflect the Dolphins being 0-11, so I don't have to do it later. Or if I might as well just wait until the game is played. I might jinx their perfect losing season and cause them to win if I do it.

Perhaps, the Dolphins have to go winless to undo their 1972 karma the same year another team goes without a loss?

If you had gone to bed when I did, you'd be a little less bleary eyed and the Eagles would have won 28-24 (providing you don't check the news)!

I loved that the Eagles took the field and Madden & Michaels both said, "You have to pass to the inside here, because the Patriots are not going to let you go to the outside." Followed by Feeley throwing to the outside and the Patriots intercepting it.

We should come up with a phrase that is the opposite of "Sportscaster's Curse" for when they are right.

Madden had a couple of crystal ball moments, like when the Eagles were setting up for a 3rd and long, and he said something like "this is where you find out who plays good football. If you're a good offense, you convert here. If you're a good defense, you'll make a big play." About 5 seconds later, NE picks off Feely.

Of course, he also had at least one of his patented Capt. Obvious moments, like when he said "You look at Wes Welker and you wonder how does he get that much separation? Quickness is how."

(You don't say! Running fast helps a receiver get open??  )

The pilot episode of Frank TV was great with Madden cooking the Turducken and then showed him actually drinking the juice straight from the baster
