Anyone remember Kids Beat (1980's Superstation WTBS show)

I was wondering if anyone here remembered Kids Beat, which was a news segment that aired in the middle of cartoon shows on WTBS, such as The Flintstones and Tom & Jerry's Funhouse, roughly from the early 1980's to the early 1990's. Even though I wasn't a huge fan of the show/segment, I was surprised at how many people actually remembered Kids Beat from an online search, especially the show's reporter Audra Levi (Lee), who was on Kids Beat from circa 1983 to circa 1987.

In fact, there's even an IMDB entry for Kids Beat:

I remember Kids Beat, and the reporter. She always said the name of the show in an upbeat, perky manner -- as might be expected, I suppose. LOL.

and are 2 episodes from 1989, with a new generation of kid reporters. Audra Lee and Josh Jarboe (another boy reporter on Kids Beat) have a cameo at the end of the second episode:




Besides cartoon shows, Kids Beat sometimes aired during kid-oriented sitcoms such as The Brady Bunch and Rocky Road; the latter of which was an original sitcom produced for WTBS from 1985 to 1987.

As for a Disney connection, Audra Lee made two appearances on The Disney Channel show Kids Incoporated. In the episode below, she plays a ditzy girl running for Class President against one of the show's main characters:
