If you dont mind my asking, which hotel area? If MK, no clue, but if Epcot or HS I might have an idea.

We've had a notice like this on other trips. From what I remember people writing on this website is it could be testing new fireworks, not necessarily a new show.

Do they still do grad nights? Are there fireworks for those?

We have also at the Poly. The CL staff told us what they were doing each time. Sometimes it was fireworks testing, sometimes it was shooting an ad, and once it was for a corporate event.

If anywhere near DHS my guess would be a practice run for Galactic Nights.

They were not after hours fireworks, but I wish I had gotten a notice like that at DLR. We left Dallas really early and arrived in CA about 12:00. I think we left the house that morning at 5:30 am to get to the airport. We didn't have park tickets that day so we looked around DD and played in the pool at the hotel. Our hotel was the HOJO which is the northern most hotel on the east side of the park. We all went to bed that night Dallas time so I was fast asleep for the fireworks. I am pretty sure I hit the ceiling when that first firework went off.
I'm guessing this is SW AGS testing for Galatic Nights, However SW AGS is every night, IDK how muck testing they need to do. How big is the SOLO part they're adding?
