Anyone ever visited May 1?

Ok...background. My parents and I are going on trip to Paris in late April/early May for 10 days, and originally there were no plans to go to DLP. However, my lovely father recently changed his mind. However, Labor Day is literally the only day we can be there.

I recognize that much of Paris is shut down and the place will probably be nuts but has anyone actually experienced the crowds? I've been in Magic Kingdom on the 4th of July and survived but looking to plan a little bit. So with that said, if you had to pick one park, would you do DLP or Studios? And if you bought tickets for both... what would your top 3-5 musts be in each park?

Well I've been there and it is busy but not overwhelming. Expect crowds but nothing like what you can have at the Magic Kingdom for 4th July. A normal May weekend crowd level.

As for the parks, I would suggest you do both of course. If you have to chose, then DLP might be better since you have much more to do and in May the park always stays open until 23:00 (due to the fact that it gets dark so late and they need it for Disney Dreams).

As for 3-5 things in each park, that depends of what type of rides you like. My opinion would be the following:

Disneyland Park:
- Phantom Manor
- Pirates
- Big Thunder
- Indiana Jones

(normally I would include Space Mountain but it will be closed then)

Studios Park:
- Ratatouille
- Crush
- Tower of Terror
- both Animagique and Cinemagique are great too.
