Sorry for the thread bump, but I was searching for pictures of the Catwalk and wanted to chime in for those who were asking about it.
I visited many times in the mid-late 90s. The only entrance I ever used was the one inside what is now Playhouse Disney. The actual bar and seating area were fully inside of that building and had no outside windows - those beautiful pictures above of the view were from the bathroom area that also served Brown Derby (if I recall correctly).
The bar itself was on the catwalk and had a few tables, about 8-12 seats at the actual bar and was nestled among a number of cages full of props from shows and movies. There were a couple bookcases that contained a number of board games (mainly classics) and all the tables and chairs were mismatched (again from old shows and movies).
The bar served a variety of micro-brew bottles long before that was the 'in' thing to do. It was where I had my first Fin Du Monde back in 94 and my liver has been heading downhill ever since. I certainly credit the Catwalk Bar with turning me into a beer....um....enthusiast.
It was extremely relaxing and sort-of fun to watch the people downstairs at the character meal that was there (I remember watching the Genie and Jafar from above quite a bit).
Enough nostalgia. I'm going to have to look through some old boxes and try to track down a picture or two.
