Remember the only time you saw this type of confrontation was when two parents were fighting for the last Cabbage Patch kid or Furby?

I blame the family holiday classic Jingle All The Way starring Arnold Schwarzenegger for most of modern society's violence.Black Friday in-store specials.
No, that's still the Cardiac Surgery Recovery ICU.*Most Expensive Place on Earth
Tiki Room has been packed the last few times I’ve done it with my family. So pay $129 a day and avoid the busier locations? No fireworks, e-tickets? Just Carousel of Progress, Tiki Room, Hall of Presidents and Country Bear?
After reading the back and forth with leaving line for restroom then returning, I'm seriously thinking about applying for DAS to avoid possible confrontations if my bladder acts up. I read 7DMT had a temporary return queue in March 2021 to address returning party members. How difficult would it be for Disney to implement this permanently at ride that routinely see 60+ minute waits?
I don't blame TV as much as I blame a society that tries to coddle people more than guide them. Our judicial system is a joke and people know they can act a fool with little consequence.
Well said! Sadly, this is a very stressful time to a lot of us. BUT we all need to take the time to decompress so we can enjoy the trip. I know it's expensive, but the military taught me "travel days" do nothing that whole day but travel settle in relax and prepare. Second try your best to leave the outside the park world outside. Remember why you came and remember all the kids watching your every move! Most parents when asked why they came say "I wanted to relax and enjoy time with the kids" So when times get tough try and remember it! Disney tries but here is their problem they are understaffed, and employees are going through all the stresses we have. Most are now inexperienced kids as older more experienced have moved on in life. Disney as a company that was completely shut down is now having to deal with the economy of today. My advice is finding a much quieter vacation and come back to Disney after all this mess blows over!
The guy who really got the book thrown at him is the dark net Silk Road guy with previous no criminal record serving a life sentence. Free Ross!I don't blame TV as much as I blame a society that tries to coddle people more than guide them. Our judicial system is a joke and people know they can act a fool with little consequence.
Cause there is not much else to do that doesn’t have an hour long line..Tiki Room has been packed the last few times I’ve done it with my family.
Well... if the environmental factor is someone pushing you, then it is okay to fight back. If someone simply says, "no you cannot jump in front of me" then you don't get the right to attack the person for not helping to enable your rude behavior. People tried to line jump and it resulted in a fight. In a perfect world CM's would noticed people jumping lines, call security and get the person kicked from the park and banned for life. Doing that would result in enough press coverage that you wouldn't have to deal with anymore line jumpers because at the moment they have been enabled by Disney that posts rules against it but doesn't bother to enforce them. Of course wear a t-shirt that says something naughty and you'll quickly get the full force of Disney on you... but do something that has more impact on others like jumping a line and they look the other way.I'm sorry but no. If you feel your bladder filling up it's your responsibility to find a restroom. The conditions don't matter. You're the one who can feel how your body is feeling, so you're the one who is in charge of taking care of your needs. It's called personal responsibility.
If you're in the parks and you're starting to feel too hot or over stimulated or overwhelmed or tired, it's your personal responsibility to take care of your bodies needs. There are no environmental factors that make it okay attack people.
She was retaking her place, not jumping the line, and (unless I’m mistaken) it was the other family, not hers, who started the fight. If someone simply says, "no you cannot jump in front of me" then you don't get the right to attack the person for not helping to enable your rude behavior. People tried to line jump and it resulted in a fight.
No one is going to be “Banned for Life” for line jumping. You might be escorted from the park for the day, but I seriously doubt you’ll be banned for life. It is annoying when someone tries to line jump though for whatever reason. In a perfect world CM's would noticed people jumping lines, call security and get the person kicked from the park and banned for life.

You'll love it. So do the suits in accounting.Agreed.
We do, however, have our first-ever (5 nights) DCL cruise planned for this December. From what I’ve read and heard, that’s a whole other (much more Magical ) animal.
If they only kick them from the park then you haven't sent a message that would cause others to avoid doing the same thing. There is a risk reward trade-off in the minds of people and the ones that jump lines need to see a risk significant enough that it actually registers. If I'm at Disney on a trip and its the last day of the trip why wouldn't I just jump lines when I thought I could likely get away with it and the punishment would be ending my day early... even if the punishment was a 1 year ban if I'm only going once in a while a year ban also means little in terms of consequence. But a life time ban would hit most everyone and would also register with people as a significant cost of doing the bad thing. No one is going to be “Banned for Life” for line jumping. At some point corporations need to wake up and stop pandering to the screaming harpies on social media. The reality is most of these media mavens don't really have any huge following that actually matters, a large number of them just buy followers so they can pretend they matter.Until the first time said line cutter posts a video on social media saying they were discriminated against because (enter your favorite victim status here)
You leave the line then you are no longer in line. When you return you are line jumping. There is no place holding in the lines because you and I both know that if place holding is acceptable you'll have everyone place holding regular people into 4 hour wait times.Someone pushing you is not an environmental factor
Also, she wasn’t line jumping. She was in line, waiting. Then she left the line to get something and came back to her group.
Line jumping is absolutely frustrating though. So I do understand the sentiment. But this ain’t it.
Place holding is reality unless one’s bladder can hold for that long. You leave the line then you are no longer in line. When you return you are line jumping. There is no place holding in the lines because you and I both know that if place holding is acceptable you'll have everyone place holding regular people into 4 hour wait times.
Your argument makes no sense. Your hardline stance with something as simple as line jumping is mind boggling. Should there be consequences for that? Yes. Banned for life? So using your “logic” what should be the penalty for let’s say brining a weapon into the parks. If they only kick them from the park then you haven't sent a message that would cause others to avoid doing the same thing.
