Another 24 Hours of Disney Event?

Has anyone else heard any rumors of this? This was posted in MiceChat...

Editor’s Note:
  • March 29, 2013: Monstrous Summer: In an attempt to help the limp Limited Time Magic campaign, and to kick off the upcoming "Monstrous Summer" marketing slogan, Disney will bring back a surprise hit from last year - the 24 Hour Party. On Friday May 24th the all night party into Saturday morning will be held in both Disneyland and DCA. After last year's party devolved into a near-riot at the main entrance after 9PM, while everyone above lower-management went home at 5PM and missed the anarchy, you can bet the senior suits will be there late this time. Disneyland's parking department is planning for gridlocked streets and backed up freeways again, and it promises to be a logistical nightmare for everyone. A smaller 24 hour party will also be held that night at WDW's Magic Kingdom Park. -Al Lutz ×1
Oh, boy... Sounds like they're going to open up the Living Seas floodgates! EPCOT is about to be turned into a water park! Wahoooooooo! Better bring them goggles and scuba gear!

Wait, is this actually happening on April 24th? From 6am to 6am??

Edit: Or on May 24th?

Al Lutz is saying May 24th. ... April 24th would make a whole lot more sense. I think that's what it has to be and he has it wrong. They aren't going to pull a stunt like this on the first holiday weekend of summer?!!

Went last year and the novelty of staying in the park all night wore off real quick when the crowds shot up to enormous levels. We were disappointed with the event and left around two. We also didn't see much going on that was special for that night (besides a dj at the castle and some rare characters out and about)

Let me get this straight (no fanboi jokes, please) ... but DLR is hosting this on the SAME night as what is supposed to be an exclusive private event for high school seniors?!?!
Wow, I've died and gone to the Magic Kingdom...

(Sorry, couldn't resist...)

Disneyland also does Raver Days twice a year. Back in the day, I was like the King Raver. This was before Orlando, Orange County, Seminole County, Oceola County, and all the municipalities in Central Florida passed all those anti-rave laws. This looks like so much fun. Electronic music everywhere. Ravers everywhere. Waiting in line for rides is even fun because you're taking to everyone in line!

...I digress, sorry...

So, you haven't been to WDW in 6-7 years and you post on a Disney forum? Why exactly are you boycotting and what do you think you are accomplishing?

Just curious ...
I boycotted WDW, not DL. Read my post from back then... Hold, I will find it... But will the ticket work?
