Do we think there's any chance this could be a Main Street Theatre situation and they cancel it? There has been no news since the initial announcement and nothing has been started at the UK Pavilion. What could the hold up be?

Might be waiting for the new quarter. Also they may not want to start a new project with so many other projects happening. I doubt it is cancelled.

It is kind of surprising no construction has started yet. If it really is going to be done by the 50th it would have to be fairly small scale as others have hinted at for sure

If you see construction wall go up around Prince Charming's Carousel you will know that the Bob's have lost their last strand of dignity.

Interesting to note that the announcement of the Mary Poppins attraction was the most liked post by DPB on their instagram account in 2019. Even getting more likes than the Jonas Bros wielding Lightsabers. You just know that management must be taking note of the interest in a Mary Poppins attraction, and let's hope that we see that in the end product.

Can only hope they'll take notice. Otherwise there will be quite a few disappointing people when they see it's just a carousel.

In case you haven't noticed under your rock, but Epcot is going in a totally different direction now, my dude. I'm pretty sure the front half of Epcot isn't even called "Future World" anymore.
Oh yes, we’ve all noticed - it is now a hodgepodge of anything and everything. What is that cohesive thematic “direction” you’re apparently excited about again?

With all the projects going on I would say start looking for construction once RAT is finished. Wouldn't be shocked if the same crew just moved on over to Poppins if they already have the contracts set up.

"World Nature" (where the Journey of Water will be located) actually sounds very firmly cohesive in its theme actually. To quote Disney: "understanding and preserving the beauty, awe and balance of the natural world".

And Test Track about designing and testing cars is part of “World Discovery” and Spaceship Earth about the history of communication is part of “World Celebration” and more cartoon characters are being added to “World Nature”. Sure, why not.

By using such broad, meaningless terms as “World”, “Discovery”, “Celebration”, and “Nature” anything can be put under that umbrella and be rationalized in some way.

Guardians of the Galaxy? Sure, you’re uh...“discovering” their world and their way of travel?

Moana? Sure, she’s uh...likes to sail on the water so water is part of “nature”?

Giant sky bar? Sure, it’s uh...a place where people “celebrate” and you can see World Showcase?

Will make a great drinking game - take any attraction around the world and rationalize how it fits into Epcot now.
