Animal Kingdom character tidbits

Mickey, Minnie and Goofy should start appearing soon at the Oasis. They will continue to be at Camp Minnie-Mickey. Bre'r Rabbit and Bre'r Bear will no longer be appearing at the Oasis. They might show up randomly at Camp Minnie-Mickey.

Also, expect to see Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade to go back to 3:45pm very soon.

I also hear that the character spot by the bridge to Dinoland will now have the Fab Four and also the pathway between Africa and Asia will have them as well. Also near the DVC kiosk by CMM will now have...ready for this? Mickey and Minnie! I mean not even Chip & Dale...So much for variety :shrug:

I would think they would timetable them carefully so they're not out at the same time.... but you never know :lookaroun

Well, Mickey is pretty cool. He can get from place to place almost instantaneously. But, it would be hard for you to *see* him in two places simultaneously from one location....I hope.

AK does the worst job in having an assortment of characters. Last week, I saw Baloo on the Africa trails and at Oasis in the time in took me from one to the other. Do we really need duelling Baloos?

Even when you start talking about the Fab 5, at some point fatigue sets in.

There are so many animal characters out there, use them! Now that there is new management(again) maybe there will be change.

And the Brers need to go back to Splash Mountain where they belong!

I haven't heard this at all. Not saying it couldn't happen but I don't see them taking out Lilo and Stitch or the Pooh characters

There are many characters that could appear at DAK and that would fit wonderfully but Mngt won't bring them out. They continue to have the same ones out over and over. The only recent exception to this would be Thumper and Miss Bunny. I know Rafiki has appeared in the park at 3 or 4 spots.

DAK could do a lot better with the character variety they have. Disney has a ton of characters that would fit greatly into the theme of the park. Heck, Rafiki does not even meet at the attraction that his name is on, but he is in AL. DAK has a lot of room for improvement in the character department.

I would love to see Miss Bianca and Bernard to be at Animal Kingdom. Ludwig Von Drake would be a good fit as well.

It's not supposed to happen but it does rarely.

Hi there, I am new to the forum!!
I agree that Brer Rabbit would be better in his "laughin' place". We visited WDW for the first time last year and my DS, who is a massive Brer Rabbit fan was gutted that he wasnt at "Splash mountain" where we expected him to be.
His "Most wanted" character, Piglet was also missed. (Only to find out later he could only be met at Crystal Palace, and no reservations available! A mistake we hope to remedy at Halloween when we return.)

By lucky chance we literally bumped into Old Brer Rabbit at AK and it was the highlight of his visit.
Would have loved to have met Brer Bear too!

I'm saying if a character has an attraction dedcated to their movie then obviously they'd fit best there, but it doesn't mean they don't fit well in other places.

A real example would be the Brers and DAK.
