Does anyone know anything about the Animal Kingdom 20th anniversary next year?
... but it came so closeFixing the yeti would have been nice and it’s finally possible with Pandora open. Not being sarcastic either, but clearly it’s doubtful to happen unfortunately.
The yeti getting fixed or the sarcasm? I honestly believe Disney made the right choice holding off on closing EE for a months long refurb before Pandora. Now would be the time to do it, or perhaps once the initial rush slows down. I’m sure EE could use an extensive refurb not even including the yeti. I think what Disney decides to do in the next year will show whether or not they have any intention of ever fixing it.... but it came so close

They only have until April. The yeti getting fixed or the sarcasm? I honestly believe Disney made the right choice holding off on closing EE for a months long refurb before Pandora. Not trying to derail this thread and start another yeti debate, but I do think it would be the best 20th anniversary “gift” to the park and guests.
I know, but now could have been a great time to take it down for six months. Wishful thinking of course. They only have until April.
So true.....I know, but now could have been a great time to take it down for six months. Wishful thinking of course.
Back to more realistic 20th anniversary possibilities...cupcakes!
The yeti could be substantially improved without taking the ride down "for months".The yeti getting fixed or the sarcasm? I won't hold my breath... Rather be pleasantly surprised. The yeti could be substantially improved without taking the ride down "for months".
Projection mapping? The yeti could be substantially improved without taking the ride down "for months".
New lighter weight AA. That's all that's needed.Projection mapping?
They should at least make it even more special and park specific by serving the poop brownies as opposed to cupcakes.Cupcakes as far as the eye can see.
