I am still mad about them destroying Disaster and Beetlejuice to bring us the very failed Fast and Furious

I really enjoyed both and especially the subway in Disaster

This is actually the last straw for me, as odd as it might seem. Unis decline since the pandemic has been dramatic. After 15 years or so it’s probably back over to WDW for a few years to see if they really have turned a page. If not, there are a lot of other cities in the world…

Any time there's talk of changes in that general area, I always worry a little about E.T. as the last man standing from Uni's beginning. As long as E.T. is confirmed safe, I'm ok with pretty much anything.

Had thought after the DreamWorks Land led to ET getting a new entrance and being saved (added to Hollywood now on maps) had proved it was staying for a while?

I cannot see it going. Universal has taken such a massive criticism for removing many of the classic rides. I would for that reason state ET is safe. AAoL isnt seen or held in the same regard.

I have been reading the same conversation, and you misinterpreted what was said.

E.T. is rumored to be closed for most of next year, similar to what's happening to River Adventure right now. This has been the rumor for a while now.

You are correct and I am wrong. That still strikes me as strange because ET just got a lot of love and care.

I think there is nothing to be worry about with ET till Steven Spielberg dies. I don't think Spielberg right now has health issues despite just 3 months away from turning 80.

I know Spielberg does creative consulting work for Universal theme parks since the mid 1980s and he did play a role in creating Epic Universe. Universal from a theme park standpoint and he does get royalties. What I mean by Royalties is getting 2 percent of all revenue Universal Studios Orlando and Universal Studios Japan gets.

There is a lot of rumors through the years that he has some type of a say if the USF version ET goes away and he wants ET to stay.

Being 80 appears to be a pretty serious health issue.
