The first time I went on the ride and saw the safety video I got a little creeped out by the fact that one of the crash test dummy's hands came off. It was so creepy. Other than that it was good.

it was a little on the goofy side, those test dummies were kind of like the ride-exclusive comic relief.

what's ironic about the smoking dummy was that his name was bender. could it be possible that 20th century fox got the inspiration for Futurama's Bender from Bender the test dummy?

Same here! Although there is no denying that it was a bit dated and at least they didn't half way do its replacement. Still, it bothers me that we lost the BTTF characters/music for The Simpsons. If it were for King Kong or something "bigger" it would be one thing, but we got a washed up TV show that had a HORRIBLE film recently come out. Oh well, at least the attraction looks to be better than the show and movie.

That test dummy video kind of disturbed me when I was a kid. I can only imagine what the new Itchy & Scratchy safety video will make kids think.
