This is what I was thinking. Unless people plan on walking up to it and petting it, there's nothing to worry about. Their 40 yard dash times are very unimpressive.....

Yeah, but it's the 10-20 yard dash that you need to worry about. If you are real close to a gator and it catches you flat footed - you may end up short an appendage ( or worse ).

Here I was expecting some huge beast of a thing staring down a Chevy Suburban. Thats a Dog's chew toy. Something a family from Japan spends an hour feeding and taking pictures of cause its so cute.

Lol. Seeing the reactions to this makes me laugh. It's just a gator. Pest Control will relocate him.

Being that we are not use to seeing gators in our neck of the woods, not going to easily brush this off. The inverse can be said of southerners and snow or freezing rain, they are not too use to driving in it like us northerners.

Oh no.. I go water skiing with my family at the Contemporary once a year. Now I'm afraid to get in that water. I'm Floridian, so I'm used to seeig them... but after watching Lake Placid last night, I not too sure I wanna get in that dark, murky lake water anymore :(

WOW! Gators ...that is a bit scary.

Ah duh! Its Florida!!! And The World is that Swamp Land from all the jokes our parents and grandparents made....As long as you don't mess with them they don't mess with you.

At one time, there was a law protecting them...endangered and all...but because of that there seems to be an abundance again...

This Ex-FL person who lives in MA now says, "Go Gators!" LOL
