Staying at All Star Music in February and was wondering what the breakfast food is like. I have heard it is bad but how bad is bad? Should we just eat at Hollywood Studios instead? If so, what is the best place for breakfast at Hollywood Studios?

I thought the food at the all stars was good.I'm a mickey waffle addict and have them everyday but my husband has tried and liked all the other options, no idea why it's called bad. I would say standard breakfast same as ihop type places (except mickey waffles those are heaven). The breakfast options at Hollywood studios won't be as good/many, if we skip breakfast we end up with some sort of cupcake or cinnamon roll there.
It is quite literally the same food served in almost every food court and quick service on property. It is by no means gourmet, but it is fine.

The Mickey waffles are fine. I've also gotten a breakfast sandwich that had chicken and bacon on it, I think it was on a biscuit, that was served with tots that was pretty good. The Studios doesn't have much for breakfast besides Starbucks, the Sweet Spells shop, and a couple of Joffrey's kiosks all of which would be mostly a doughnut or muffin. There is Hollywood and Vine but that would be a buffet that needs an ADR.

I think breakfast is your safest bet at most the food courts, like others mentioned it is by no means gourmet but it is satisfying and will get you through the morning. I've never stayed at All Star specifically but we have had the breakfast platter at many different hotels and even park locations and they are all the same.

Our experience at the All Stars was that we would eat at the food court as a last resort option. We preferred to go to the Parks or one of the other nicer hotels to have breakfast. We pretty much did a character breakfast each day we were there, it was so worth it to us to have the dining meet and greets. Filled up the autograph book, really fast that way. It forced us to get up and get going each morning and explore the property. It depends on your preference.
