AKL, Port Orleans Riverside, or Caribbean Beach in January?

Going in January with DS (7) and DD (12) for 4 nights. Right now I have Port Orleans Riverside Garden view with 5th bed booked with dining discount package. Caribbean beach is same price with Pirate Room using the discount package. AKL with a standard view is $500 more total with dining package. We have stayed at Wilderness Lodge before and loved it. It is too pricey this time, but if it were cheaper we would stay there again. Which one would be the best???

AKL. Every single time. I have tried the others and nothing is the same. Your kids would probably love it.

I just looked again and AKL standard room is only $400 more. I switched to AKL.

GREAT choice--AKL is fantastic! My sister and I and her two boys stayed there in January 2017. It was great, we loved it. Just wasn't in our budget for January 2018, so we stayed at POR in a Preferred Room. POR is very nice and would definitely stay there again. The POR boat transportation to Disney Springs was wonderful. But, we missed AKL--so much that we took a drive over just to walk through the lobby, visit the gift shop and get a view of the savanna. You and your family will LOVE it. It's so unique. Restaurants are great. So many extras for the kids. Make sure you check out the the whole resort while you're there.
P.S. We made sure to budget for AKL our next visit. Staying there in January 2019! Counting down the days--can't wait!
