Is anyone else having an issue booking reservations online. I have been trying for 2 days. Yes, I know I can call but the times I try to do it the phone lines are closed. Just wanted to know if it was just me of someone else had a problem.

I had same problem

Hey, I had an issue when I was using windows...thought the site was down but then I went on the IMAC computer and had no issues...so it might be a windows problem

From what I have read on these boards it seems to be a on going issue the past couple of weeks.. I would try to make time to do this when your able to call if you keep having problems so you can get what you want. Good Luck!!

We had issues last night, we got to the search screen, it said it was searching, but never did get past that. I was able to make an ADR this morning with no problem though.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I am assuming it is a browser issue (firefox). I was able to make the reservation from my phone just fine. Which I didn't even thing about before!

UGH!!! It doesn't like any of my browsers. I recently updated the browsers on my home computer and all of them are newer versions than what the WDW dining site supports (Explorer, Firefox, & Chrome)...and I can't figure out any way to revert to the old supported versions. And of course my work computer uses some antiquated system which won't be upgraded until the end of the year- since all of our corporate applications don't play nicely with newer browsers.

Anyone know how to get back to an older "Disney supported" version of a browser?

i had no problem at the end of may making adr's for our late november week long trip. but about 1 1/2 weeks ago we added a short 3 day trip for the week of aug 14th and for about 4 days i could get as far as "searching for tables" and it would just churn and churn. i even tried several different computers from several different locations and ended up on about the 5th day getting in on my original computer.

my email to disney was just finally answered today and they either misunderstood what i was asking/complaining about or were avoiding answering but they said it's difficult to get popular venues after the 180 day mark and to call...i read it and thought...duh ok i know about the 180+10 (always do it when we're booked far enough out) but i knew darn well that there was no way every single venue in all of wdw (parks, resorts, dtd etc) was fully booked for the 3 days we're there.

Just an update on this...Firefox debuted their 5.0 edition the other day which doesn't play nicely with the Disney Dining Web site. The same is true of the version of Chrome I was using and I've also found that Explorer 9 doesn't work either (dealt with this months ago- no fun!). That's not to say you can't get onto the website on the newer browsers, but the updated versions of the browsers don't work for booking Disney dining. I've been doing a lot of looking around online and it seems that a lot of people are experiencing this. I had to uninstall the new Firefox and track down the old version just so I could access the dining booking. The Disney site has a section that talks about browser compatibility and how it was designed to work best with specific browsers/versions...most of which are being phased out by newer versions. I couldn't get any of the newer versions to modify their settings to be compatible with the Disney dining site either...but I'm also not that tech savvy. It's just frustrating because I don't know of any other site that's so picky and filled with issues. I mean- I can perform a wide array of mutual fund account transactions and maintenance via my company's website on our horribly outdated work browser, but I can't book dinner at Disney at home on the most up to date browsers?!?!? Oh well- at least I have a temp fix. Sorry- venting. :zipit:

Why does new technology have to be so complex???
I may not be tech savy BUT I should be able to book a dining reservation online:(

It's been messed up for months! The biggest pain is that tables aren't loaded, so you find yourself at 6:00 am thinking "Everything for Tutto Italia is booked at 180 days" when in fact, they just aren't loaded yet.
