Hello,

We are doing a family trip my Husband I are going for 10 Days and staying at Port Orleans. My brother will be joining for a
apx 4-5 days of the trip. Is there a way I can add him to our reservation for those few days. I want to make sure he is
eligible for Magic Band and Fast Pass selection etc.

If you are on a package (room, tickets and/or dining plan) your brother needs to have the SAME package as everyone else in the room, for the same number of days.

If you have a room only reservation (and purchase tickets separately) and you want him to have 60 day FP, you need to add him now to your reservation and pay the additional adult fee for each night of your stay. Then, when you check in, tell the front desk your brother’s arrival date and you will be credited the extra adult fee for the nights he is not staying in your room.

I think to get a magic band they need to be on the reservation for the whole trip. For FastPass they need tickets and a link to your family group. To get the 60 day Fast Pass they need to be on your reservation.

The only way I've heard of getting someone access to your hotel room for part of a trip is to ask at the front desk. But for FPs etc it would be better to name them on the room reservation.

Not true about the FPs. As long as he has a valid ticket linked, and is listed under “friends and family” , they will be able to book FPs for him with theirs when their window opens. He doesn’t need to be even staying onsite. It’s refrered to as umbrellering, and allows you to book FPs for friends who want to tour with you for a day or two (think snowbirding grandparents).

But it sounds like he wants to come and stay.

For EMH and ME, they need to be on a reservation. @tuvalu’s response summarises it nicely.
