One of our girls used "eXtra large Dalmations" with a photo of her in front of the dalmations at All Star Movies for the letter 'X'. it's all about the creativity!

Thinking from a kiddie's point of view, you could make finding a character whose name begins with each letter a sort of mission for the holiday. That way, you can put a photo and a autograph on each page? It would make the book fab, imo!

It's actually harder to think up characters than I realised! Especially sat in my boring old office in Blighty! And trying to think of ones that actually do meet and greets is even harder!

I'll try and come up with some more but it's got me stuck now! :shrug:

We play this game ALL the time! Sometimes we do Disney characters, sometimes attractions. You can mix it up!

I - Journey into Imagination or the Incredibles
X - there is a Xylophone at All Star Music, I think
Y - the Yeti (EE)
Z - Zebra (AK) or Zurg (there is a good photo op with Zurg as you exit Buzz)

Thanks everyone! Your helping me out, so much. I can't wait to do this project with my son. He doesnt know about the trip yet but after we tell him, I'm going to start by asking him stuff and giving him some of everyones suggestions. It will be fun. Keep them coming expecially all the harder letters. I will post pictures after our trip in September.

This is such a great idea! I've been trying to come up with little ideas myself b/c I'll be homeschooling my son in Sept. and we've taking our Disney vacation in Sept. I want him to do a couple little "projects" while we're on vacation just to keep him in school mode.

I was also thinking about taking a picture of him with a little flag from all the countries and then studing these countries during the year.

I'm also introducing him to some of the "stranger" animals we're going to see in AK. I want him to be interested to learn about the new animals and reinforce what we've already learned at home.

If anybody else has some educational ideas, please post...
