Those are some major differences at Uni with Spiderman etc. Gotta make people feel good about that fast pass purchase

Another poster claimed that Uni's EP waits were much longer than they are, and much longer than WDW's w/LL.

Rarely do we wait very long with EP, but in the mid-day, we did find a few EP waits that were a bit long- like Flight of Hippogriff. More or less, it is similar to Goofy's Barnstormer, but with better theming, so I wouldn't generally consider it worth a 50minute wait, but I can see how the ride gets backed up. Simply: the riders/hour rate is pretty low, since it has a single train.

While our LL waits were overall pretty short, with LLMP, we were limited in how many we could get, and which rides. A real downside of LLMP is that you often have to crisscross the park, and take the times that are offered.

I apologize, I missed that your Uni experience was with EP, which certainly would make your wait time much shorter than the posted wait time.
Yes, Flight of The Hippogriff does get long lines, I think it's because, while I love Uni, there aren't a lot of kid friendly rides, particularly in that area of the park, so the one they have will get lots of attention.

I tried to clarify when we used it and when I didn't or when the standby was the same, but I tend to abbreviate.

Early in the morning, Standby/EP/LL were often near zero (and the same) at both WDW and Universal, except a few specific headliners, like FoP. It was kinda crazy to ride attractions like Mummy twice w/ no wait in the morning, but then see it with an hour standby in the afternoon.

One day, it was a little funny because we happened to be in Seussland during a sudden downpour. We quickly got to the carrousel, but the EP queue is only partly covered. It is covered once you are scanned, but not pre-scan. In that instance it was decidedly better to use the standby queue!

The thing that to me makes EP at Universal infinitely more valuable than LL at WDW (besides the fact that EP at Uni is a fraction of the cost of LL at WDW, if you get it as we do by staying at a Premium hotel), is that you don't need to schedule anything in advance. You just show up, tour spontaneously, and enjoy! No muss, no fuss.
