I put up a section on my site with the pictures here

But because you all rule so much, i mirrored the text and links here... The crowds were smaller than normal (for obvious reasons). Also, i noticed on the way out of the MK that it appearst that one of the Water Pageant floats was destroyed by the hurricane :(

Looks like they took down the SGE shields for Hurricane Charley.
Overlooking the entrance to SGE.
A blurry shot of the shield over the entrance to SGE.
One of the rare days where I got to MK early enough to see Tomorrowland Countdown. Watch a video clip here. They're no Future Corps, but they're still fun to watch.
Wail that thang! This is the guy that always has a drumstick through his head and gets the "volunteer" when they're performing as the main street philharmonic.
These guys rock. Too bad the 2 sets I saw today only consisted of their intro song, and "I wanna be like you" :(.
Its PUSH! Can you spot the guy controlling him?
How about now.. look closely, see him? Give up? Click here to see. Note the hand near the mouth. Its very subtle, and he does a great job looking like any other tourist.
They took the lights off all the construcion walls because of Charley.
Looks like even the hurricane couldn't clean these droppings. Will Disney EVER get this cleaned?
Official notice that Tom Sawyers island is down for rehab.
Rehabbing Tom Sawyers Island.
Downed tree.
New flags at the MK.
Another new flag. I hate this one. It looks really hokey.
Downed and cut trees and the MK monorail station.
New flags once again, at the MK parking lot.
Debris blocking a lane of outgoing traffic.
Debris blocking a section of parking.
The Cirque building also had its issues.

I see a brand new sign at SGE. . . very cool photos!! :sohappy:

Also -- the new flags you are mentioning -- are you sure they are so new? I've seen the Mickey there for years.

Maybe they aren't new, but its the first time I noticed them.. or at least seen them in those locations.

Looks great... not many problems... (Im suprised the construction walls can be put up so fast after taking them down fast... or can they actually withstand Cat 1-4 winds??)

In response to Time Trip. Thank you for your pictures. It has been a year since I was at Disney and hope to return in the next year or two. I waswondering how the Park fared. It was interesting to see who controlled Push. I picked him out.

I think I could've been right by you when you were snapping those pictures of Push, the trashcan. Around 2:30.
I told my dad before the trip down to MK, the parks would either be packed from Floridians trying to escape the damage or completely empty. And it appeared to be the latter.

Once you were in the park, you would never have noticed that a hurricane had just passed through less than 2 days earlier. They did a good job of cleaning things. Outside the parks, it was a little less so, but still very good nonetheless. As for those PUSH pix, I grabbed them at the 1:40 session. I should have come back for more. :)

Nope was on Haunted Mansion while you were snapping photos, but I agree completely with you TimeTrip about you couldn't tell that a hurricane had rolled in two days before but some of the roads were another story.

Thanks for the photos and the time it takes to upload and type the captions to them. :D

I'll give you some rep points when it allows me (gave out too much lately, I'm such a humanitarian) :D

Yes, the photos and related link comments were excellent. I am pleased to see how well the parks survived the storm. I wonder how Fort Wilderness and areas around Wilderness Lodge stood up to the blast.

I am also thankful we haven't sold out house yet. Though I did explain to the wife how at least with a hurricane you usually have ample warning that it's near. Up here with tornado's you maybe get 45 minutes.

I am especially glad that the people who have checked in are physically ok.

Great photos. Looks like Disney stood up pretty well to Carley, I was wondering how it did during the hours I didn't have power.

On Saturday, the talking trash can from Conservation Station at AK was visiting Movies.

I walk backstage and I see it moving down the hall. Kind of a shock.

Disney has always been stronger than James Taylor - Hurricane Carley Simon that is.

Great pics. I love seeing pics all the time. Too bad it took a hurricane to see this many. Keep up the great work.
