Beyond amazing!!!!So completely off topic.... Legoland is building a resort and theme park about ten minutes from our house. It is supposed to be bigger than the park in Orlando, so needless to say, my Hope is beyond excited! She found out that they were running a contest for a kid reporter and decided that wanted to give it a shot. I wanted to share it with you guys - I'm so proud of her! (But I feel as though she is betraying poor Mickey! lol)

Woohoo!!!Ok guys, the moment you've all been waiting for...
Totally worth the wait!!! Nice work Ross!By 10:30 we were back at POP. We got the girls settled into bed and then made the walk down to the food court. We filled our mugs, paid our bill and then came the moment I had been dreading for most of the past year.

We walked in and he asked if I would go with him to the register. I said, “No way! You are on your own!” I found a nice “hiding” place adjacent to the register area nestled between two displays of pins, key chains and kitchen magnets.
He walked up to a register and spoke to a CM. He was cool and collective. He asked to speak to a manager. The poor CM asked if there was anything she could help him with and he said no – he would need a manager. So the CM got on the phone to call one over.

Soon the manager approached him and asked how he could be of help.
I held my breath.
What would he say? How would he say it? Would he tell the truth? Would the manager laugh right in his face?
I stood paralyzed, pressing up against my shelter, trembling in my nervousness, trying not to knock over all of the Mickey waffle kitchen magnets.
I watched as Ross began to tell the story of the Crocs. He relived the entire story. He told the manager about that sad day in EPCOT when Julia stomped on his beloved sandal, pulling it apart beyond repair. He confessed how he tried to staple it back together, but couldn’t fix it. He admitted to buying them in desperation because he had no other shoes to wear during the last day of vacation and finally he explained how they ripped his feet apart and he could not wear them.
The manager’s face showed that he was listening intently. He stood sternly with his arms folded and one hand under his chin. Ever once in a while he would nod but didn’t say much – he just listened. The young CM who was also listening to the exchange has a look of sheer disbelief on her face.
After Ross was done with his pleading his case, I saw the manager say a few words to him and walk away. The CM handed Ross a piece of paper, at which time, he turned to me and motioned for me to come over.
I crept up next to him as the manager was walking back over with a pair of Crocs from the selling floor. He shook Ross’ hand and thanked him for being his candor and honesty. He told us to have a good night and to enjoy the rest of our trip. Ross filled out the form...

...and was handed this.

It was for the full amount of the Crocs. He gave it to me and said to add it to Julia and Hope’s spending money.
As we started to leave, the CM handed him the Crocs!! We looked at each other completely puzzled and he said to her, “I think you need these.” She looked at him in a confused way and replied, “Oh Yeah, I guess I do.” Truth be told, I don’t think she wanted to touch them! lol
He was beaming with satisfaction and as we headed back to the room, he said to me, “See, good vibes!”
