Well, here we go!
I did a pre-trip report back in 2009 forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/an-adventure-5-years-in-the-making-my-pre-trip-report.488216/ but things being what they were and time running away with me I never got to do a full trip report.
Well here we are over seven years later and in that time a lot has happened! The most important and amazing change in my life and the reason for this trip report is that I fell in love and have married my own princess.
And I hope you’ll bear with me here whilst I give a brief of history of how Hannah and I met. We both have a great love of the theatre and first met when we doing a pantomime version of Sleeping Beauty back in 2003. We did various shows together over the years but it was in 2010 when we were doing a production of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, where I was playing Demetrius and Hannah was playing Hermia, that we got together.
Fast forward then to May 2013 when we were in a production of The Hound of the Baskervilles and after the final performance I arranged for a special performance to take place.
Here is a link to the youtube video of my proposal:-
For those of you that watched (and even for those of you that didn’t) you may be able to guess that we are both great fans of Disney (in fact Hannah says that I am more of a Disney fan than she is but only slightly lol)!
So much so that even before the proposal we had talked about where we would go on our honeymoon and there was never more than one option and I’m sure I don’t even need to say what that option was but lets just say I am writing a pre-trip report for it!
Our original plan was to get married and have our honeymoon together in 2018 but as always seems to be the case with me plans change and we decided to get married in Sept 2016 and then have our honeymoon to WDW in Sept 2017 and have our first wedding anniversary whilst we are out there!
Here are a couple of photos from our wedding.
I’m going to leave it there for now but will return soon with more information!
