We are staying at the Poly Tower and the other night it was raining the kind of Florida rain we all have experienced- pouring sideways. It’s a long walk from the tower to the bus stop and we didn’t want our sneakers to be soaked before we even got to AK for the emh that night. In the lobby I asked how hard it would be to get a taxi or whatever would be easiest and fastest because we had rainforest res at 5:30 and it was 5:00 already. The cast member got us a minivan for free and we got there on time.
While waiting we were talking and mentioned it was our 25th anniversary since getting married at Disney. When we got back to our room that night, there was a card on our table from him saying happy anniversary and there’s something in your refrigerator to celebrate. It was a plate of assorted chocolates.
I have kind of lost faith in Disney the last few years but it was awesome to see there’s some CMs who still go out of their way. We couldn’t be more grateful and I just wanted to share that some still have that old Disney spirit!
