Not sure if this is news worthy so mods please feel free to delete if deemed not so, but just rode Star Tours and about 1 minute into it, we abruptly stopped, screen went black and doors opened. Very odd. As soon as we left the simulator all “gates” were escorted out by 10 or so cast members and pushed out of the gift shop. They have now blocked the path between Star Tours and Backlot Express and they have also blocked cast members from going through their own entrance across from baseline taphouse. Several park ops managers running around. Hope everything is ok.

Cmon man, it’s his first flight, and he’s still getting used to his programming! Cut them some slack!

I’m guessing something medical and perhaps that’s why all the simulators were stopped abruptly.

Sounds more akin to a fire if the entire building was evacuated, but it must have been serious enough to block off the surrounding area meaning it may have been a larger threat.

Sounds like a fire alarm so they evacced the building and cleared a path for emergency equipment if it is needed. False alarm I'm thinking

This makes sense. I’d never seen CM’s and ops managers so frantic before but blocking off entire areas for fear of fire does seem feasible. When getting off the truncated ride, we didn’t see or hear fire alarms but could have been internal.
