I only experienced the new Hub like 5 times when it first opened (so everything was working) and it was honestly incredible.

Just felt magical in a very Epcot way.

If they actually fix it, I hope y'all get to experience what I did initially.

I saw it once with the ground lights, but it was when a couple of them were just white already.

From what I saw though at that time, I agree with you it really did look lovely.

Some of them illuminated incorrect colors the very night they debuted, I was there that night. However as a whole, they were very pretty and it was awesome how they fully interacted with the SSE light shows (before they went into the generic pulsing B-mode, that is)

Yeah. I really hope the work that is going on now does mean they figured out the issue and how to combat heavy foot traffic.

It adds so much energy to that area with the lights working properly

I’ll try to be there as the sun sets tonight, we’ll see if they turn on or not. Right now, optimistically speaking, the worst case scenario would be them not officially reactivating until this Friday with the start of Festival of the Holidays.

Here’s an closeup look at the EPCOT typeface on the new dedication plaque. Judging from earlier photos, I didn’t realize it was metallic until now.

No ground lighting yet as of tonight, however they finally fixed the sustained bright white sides of half of the light pillars, although one of the pillars on the opposite side is still turned off on the sides.

Even when they’re off, I really do much prefer these new reflective panels for the lights, they look a lot more premium.

According to @DreamfinderGuy the plan is to have them functioning for the holidays, whether that means the full festival or not remains to be seen.

Full fix should be coming very soon, new strips have been installed and they were being tested after park close last night. They might actually be ready for the festival’s opening day (though I still would not hold my breath)

Get Imagineering to come in tomorrow and get it done. Disney can always give them some unsold turkey legs in compensation.

Hopefully next they allocate some money to fix the out of sync pixels on Spaceship Earth. Even just one that is the wrong color/off at the wrong time sticks out like a sore thumb.

Lights in the ground appear to be working again, not back to synced with the whole package, but pulsing white. Pillars also appear to be fixed back to sync with regular package. Still issues with entrance plaza light ring outages and programming for the ground, but miles better than most of the year.
