7 nights for the price of 4

I remember it well. I bought into it. I got the 7 day, hotel and park ticket. Went to the park for 4 days and added, Non-expiration to the last 3 days and did some other things on those three days. I used the three days the following year. That was truly "Magic my way".

2009 was amazing. I remember the buy 4 get 7. They also did a buy certain nights and get a gift card.

I think 2008 / 2009 they were suffering from the recession. We won't see deals like that anymore.

We did a gift card offer in 2010...I believe it was $300 or something. Somehow seems more fun that way...to spend a giftcard around the parks instead of saving money upfront. :p

YES! Those were good times. We took advantage of the gift card and the 7 for 4. AND....we have pics of us sometimes being the only ones on the Disney bus going to parks. I have pics of my husband in the pool by himself. It was like our very own resort and transportation. Knew it couldn't last..:( But it sure was fun. :)

Does anyone else remember about 10 years ago when they offered the buy 4 nights at a WDW resort hotel and get 3 for free? We took advantage of that in 2009. It was such a great deal!! Wish they would bring it back!! Anybody agree?

Well, that was during the economic collapse when no one was going to the park. Yep, we were fortunate to take advantage of that. Seven days at the CR , park view. One of our best trips ever.

My wife and I did the same; park view at the CR for a week. Even with that promotion, WDW didn't appear to be very busy. Each afternoon there were only a handful of other guests at the pool. It was bizarre, but very enjoyable. This was only a few days prior to 4th of July too.

If that happens again, there will be another massive recession. Everyone that depends on tourism were fighting for the few that were comfortable enough working to take a vacation.

Yes! We used it for a 2Bdrm at OKW. That was the best deal EVER! Sadly, that will not be offered again I am sure.

Oh how I long for economic collapse so I can escape to a nearly empty Magic Kingdom and forget all about being upside down in my mortgage...

(That's just a joke BTW)

Ahhhh, yes. That was a sweet deal. Loved taking advantage of that one both for the savings and for the low crowds! And that's when we discovered the advantages to hitting a park on our arrival day. We had not done that before because we didn't want to spend the money for an extra day of tickets to only spend a few hours in a park that first day. With the B4G7 deal, we had tickets for our arrival day and found that we really enjoyed spending a few hours at Epcot that day. And oddly, that's when we also discovered how inexpensive it was to add one more day to our usual 6-day tickets. Now I wouldn't even think about *not* having park tickets for every day of our stay.

I remember that because I tried to convince my boyfriend (now husband) to take a WDW trip but I couldn't do it. I wasn't able to talk him into a Disney trip until 2012 and that's because he was suffering from a major case of guilt LOL.

I never used that promotion, but I did take advantage of the 40% off the deluxe rooms. That was back in 2010. I haven't seen that discount in a long while. ;)

The best we've seen since then is 30% on deluxe and even that is rare. 40% would get us to book again, but alas, there is no need for heavy discounting as the MK is bursting at the seams with customers right now.
