Last time we got one was Fall '04. We booked the same day. We haven't gotten one since. I don't understand the logic. We would easily concider an extra trip and upgrade to APs if we got one or two great offers. Their loss I guess. We're talking New York this summer instead, or San Antonio. We skipped last year because there was no good offer for August and went to LA instead.

Interesting story about this promo. I got the offer in the mail with the PIN number the other night. As others posted, the details are $594 for 5 nights/6 days in a Value resort with non hopper park tickets plus a $500 gift card for travel dates 3/1-4/16.

I can't book a trip that soon and I don't really want to go there during the spring breaks so I figured I'd call the 407 number, give them the PIN and ask about the first week of May. I did some research with the buy 4 get 3 deal for May 4-11 online already. The customer service rep quoted me a price that was way more with the PIN then what I saw online.

So I told her i could get a better deal with the other promotion and I asked her, well what about the gift card? She said what gift card? I then read her the entire offer that I got in the mail word for word. She told me to hold. When she came back a few minutes later, she asked if I could fax her the offer I got in the mail! They had no record of this deal on their computer systems when I called last night!

How is that even possible? Are they that desparate to get people down that they aren't even communicating internally about new deals? Anyway, I've been trying to fax it to them but it won't go through so I have to call again. Maybe for my troubles I can get the better pricing and the gift card for May!

I got the same deal in the mail Thursday, and we just got back from the World last Sunday.

TO CONTINUE WITH THE PIN MANIA THREAD: We finally got one.!!! It's Kids 3-9 Stay, Play and Dine for free $794 per adult from 3-1/ 4-16. I thought that this was free dining for everybody, [I'm so naive] so I called and priced the Poly and was told that this wonderful PIN offer that Disney sent to me does not apply for my family because our kids are ages 13 and 11.
So, why did we get it? We have been there before and they have our kids and ages registered in their system. :shrug:
While on the phone, I priced the Wilderness Lodge, Port Orleans and the Poly for June 7-14th using the buy 4 get 3 free, and was told the only openings that they had for a family of four that week, using that discount, were at Saratoga Springs and the Board Walk. The Board Walk is still $3,200. I'm not sure if the CM included the dining plan; we usually don't get it.
So, on this Saturday morning, I'm not sure if I should be depressed about getting a PIN code that doesn't apply to us, or not being able to afford Disney with the resorts that they offered availablity with the big discount deal.
Maybe I'll just sit here, drink my coffee, and be depressed about both.
I need another stimulous check.

Update: I finally faxed the offer to guest services and a Manager called me back today. He was very helpful and quoted me the buy 4 get 3 free deal for 7 nights in May with a $200 gift card. Cost at Boardwalk was $2,291 with 8 day hopper, no meal plan. I pushed back to see if I could get some more on the gift card for my "troubles" but he said he couldn't add more to it.

We paid just over $3,000 for the Boardwalk in 2007 so you can see how great this 4/3 deal is. Sure that included free dining but we were going to try without dining plan this time. Apparently you can use the gift card for dining.

He also said it was better to get the buy 4 get 3 free deal then this PIN offer unless you were staying at a value resort. So I told him I'd think about it. Now I have to convince the Wife that a trip in May is more important then living room furniture!

I received this exact same PIN and we are using it! We will be there the week before Easter and with my kids being 9 and 5 years old, they are free. I added a day and upgraded to a preferred room in the POP Century resort. The entire trip, including the meal plan will cost around $1900 for the 4 of us.
