Hello everyone! I've been enjoying everyone else's reports on here for years so I'm excited to finally share mine with you.
This trip included my fiancé Melissa and myself Andrew. We live in Oswego, NY so getting away from the snow, 4' fell the day after we left, and the cold -22* 3 days after we left was a great!
Our plan was to stay with a friend that moved to Sarasota back in October for 2 weeks. But being a Disney freak I couldn't be that close to the greatest place on earth without visiting for a few days.
We made the hour and half drive up 75 to 4 on Wed. about 30 mins out Melissa asks if I'm hungry? Being so excited to get there I said no! So we kept driving, then I remembered not being the Disney freak like me I better keep her happy and not ruin the magic. So, I made it to the welcome sign and had to turn around to get breakfast.
So all fed we checked into the Dolphin. I love the location of this hotel and the beds are so comfortable. We stayed here in '08 on our last trip and it made our trip a breeze. After a quick check in it was off to the Magic Kingdom!
When we bought our park tickets the CM asked if we were celebrating anything? I was like "Yeah I'm at Walt Disney World!" But, Melissa's B-day was in a few days so they gave her a Birthday pin! I was very surprised how many CM's made a point to wish her a Happy Birthday.
Now it was off to to explore! We hit all of our favorites, except Big Thunder Mt. as it was down for some reason. So we road Haunted Mansion an extra time or too. We even did a few things we missed in '08, Peter Pan and The Enchanted Tiki Room.
So we started in Frontier land, slid over to Adventure land then it was on to Fantasy land. Iw as excited to see the new expansion. I wasn't disappointed. Although I can wait for the Seven Dwarfs ride to open! Everything was built with great detail but, what else would you expect from Disney.
