There is bad news. Darrell Waltrip has been diagnosed with Frontotemporal Degeneration. It sounds like it might've caused by CTE. What I know is Darrell did serious wrecks in his racing career including the 1983 Daytona 500. He is now stepping even more farther away from the public limelight as a result.

While NASCAR Hall of Fame hasn't throw away their 3 year retirement rule for Kyle Busch, NASCAR Hall of Fame announced a Kyle Busch Exhibit called Kyle Busch: honoring a legacy.

The exhibit features Busch’s No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry, the car he drove to his first Cup Series championship, along with stories highlighting his career achievements and his role as a mentor who helped develop and launch the careers of future NASCAR stars through Kyle Busch Motorsports.

There was a big surprising announcement. Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing announced Brad Keselowski will be splitting with RFK after 2026.

I am not sure. Kaulig Racing CEO Chris Rice mentioned on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio that there is nothing link Brad to Kaulig Racing and Dodge. Chris Rice also mentioned dodge hasn't been committed to return to cup racing. I think Chris is the right person to answer since Kaulig Racing in the Truck Series in involved with Dodge and Kaulig racing also is in the cup series.

Spire Motorsports announced Kasey Kahne is racing in NASCAR full time in the 77 truck in 2027 in the truck series.

That announcement caught me off guard due to Kasey retired from racing full time in NASCAR for many years after medical issue.

2 cup team announcements happened. Haas Factory team has announced Cole Custer is returning to the 41 team. The other announcement is Penske announced Austin Cindric is returning to Penske in 2027.
