Yes, just like last year. The total number of festival days went up by two a year ago, and is the same this year as last.So is July now the only month not touched by a festival?
I think a lot of it is just because the original lineups for the F&G concerts were mostly 60s and 70s groups ("Flower Power") and due to age they're either not touring anymore or have shuffled off this mortal coil.Funny how the best musical acts have moved from F&W to F&G. IMO, of course.
Any word on a short Summer festival at the same length of FOTA?Yes, just like last year. The total number of festival days went up by two a year ago, and is the same this year as last.
There are 252 festival days and 122 non-festival days. So, two thirds of the time there is a festival.
Sounds like a good show. I'll just miss them by a week or two. SighMay 19-21 – Mike DelGuidice & Big Shot
just some info on this for those who may not know, Big Shot is a local Long Island band that mainly plays Billy Joel covers. However, the cool story is that Billy Joel hired Mike to tour with him and now he has a pretty big role in Billy's concerts. Billy will also show up from time to time at Big Shot's local gigs to do a song or 2.
pretty good read on going from a cover guy to actually working with the main artist
If you are there during that time and like Billy Joel stuff, check them out.
