What's funny is, we all try to think and pursuade Disney to do something we want, but the decision has been made for a long long time of what exactly will be done.

Actually, last I heard, no final decision had been made for the larger part of the area.
Yeah, there will be a themed meet and greet, but there is room for a whopper attraction back there. What is/was up in the air is just what they will decide on. My vote: a big E-Ticket. Like, say, 20K from DisneySea.

Actually, that would be the most fitting wouldn't it. I doubt it's going to happen but it would give them a new dark ride to advertise while keeping the people who were upset about losing 20k happy by getting a newer and better version.

Question is, would the 20k from TDS fit in just the show building itself or would that building have to be larger? I really haven't seen any pictures of the TDS one but have read several reviews and they were all positive. The only photos I have seen of 20k at TDS were the subs that are out in the water but I think they are for looks and are automated.

Anyway, if it fit then they would have room for the ride, a meet in great out front, as we'll as a gift shop and possibly a pin station or whatever else they wanted to put in. Would be the best of all worlds.

I'm not sure if just 20K would fit. Remember that volcano at TDS also holds Journey to the Center of the Earth.

Glad to see you share my opinion Lee. MI looks amazing, and personally I would much rather have JTTCOTE than 20K, but why have one when you could have both!

jrridle, I'm not sure about the size of MI and the lagoon, but replacing the Speedway with it would also be a great idea.

I hate to say it, but I still think a Harry Potter dark ride would make the most sense. Ideally, I'd vote for an Aladdin ride that isnt' a dumbo clone.

I'm guessing about 62 billion (and thats just what they spent on the restrooms :lol: ). Just kidding. I'm not sure, but it was high.

I would think so, but I'm really not sure. There are some sophisticated AAs in JTTCOTE, especially the Magma Worm, so the prices may be similar.

This just in, the final plans for the old 20,000 Leagues attraction have been finalized. To be built: A giant statue of Michael Eisner, complete with a smile, and giving the thumbs up to people. The estimated size of the statue is said to completely dwarf Cinderella Castle. When asked for a comment, Mr. Eisner said: "Dont worry about the companies finances, it [the statue] will only be made of 10k Gold."

Thats new thing going there has got to be big... why else would they remove the lagoon and (soon) the building for it now and not latter....
