Trip Report 2 weeks in heaven! Finally working on the final TR :)

I wanted to start off by saying for my last trip I did a PTR but never followed through with the final TR ... this time I solemnly swear that I will follow through... Lets start with the basics.
Who: Hubby and I

IMG_4909.JPG

When
:
11/7 - 11/20
Where: this will be a split stay between 3 disney resorts.
11/7 - 11/10 We will be staying at POP !
11/10 - 11/18 We will be staying at Coronado Springs resort ... WITH THE DINING PLAN :)
11/18 - 11/20 We will be staying at Art of animation resort (I am VERY excited about this)
Side note: I have never stayed at a value before so I'm a little worried about that (mainly because I have to actually leave my hotel room for coffee in the morningo_O) I actually had no idea until now that a coffee maker is an amenity only mods and deluxes have.
How: We just moved to South Carolina (for the past year we've been moving around a lot... NY - Florida and now we plan to stay in SC permanently... So from where we are to disney says 7.5 hours on the GPS ... so we will be driving our baby down :p... We would rather have a Mercedes than a child at this point in our lives LOL

Totally switched things up... ditched garden grill and instead going to la hacienda de san angel for fireworks! very excited I've never viewed illuminations from a restaurant.

Also thanks to a thread made by @21stamps I've decided to only do one HS day and switch 11/11 to MAGIC KINGDOM. Which will give me 3 magic kingdom days total.

DING DING DING!! You've just inspired me to bring my mini kuerig!! since we're driving I can just stick it in the trunk once I'm at coronado :)
I was going to suggest this too since you're driving! That's the beauty of having your car, you can bring as much junk as you want :joyfull:. Your plans sound great so far! I'm excited to hear about La Hacienda de San Angel. I'd like to try that one. We ate at the San Angel Inn, and I was meh about it...but I want to give La Hacienda a try.

Along with my Kipling! I swear by these bags, best quality ever. Waterproof with tons of pockets. This one is a messenger bag that converts into a fannypack as well. Excited they added a Kipling in disney springs! Although i won't purchase without a sale.

Ok guys, I'm sorry I haven't continued to update and add my plans for the week yet... I promise I will before I leave for the trip !!!

But - I do have a VERY EXCITED reason as to why I haven't done it yet.....

MY SISTER IS MEETING ME IN DISNEY FOR A WEEKEND WHEN IM THERE!!!!!!!!

My sister and her fiancé and hubby and I were all supposed to go together in December but she had to cancel... So I moved my trip up to November and she pushed hers back till March.... But she got a flight for $150 from NY to Orlando and she's gonna come down the 11th-14th !!!! I haven't seen her in a couple months and I'm very excited. But I did have to change around some plans last minute to accommodate what she wants to do.

All in all I'm extremely happy about this unexpected last minute news... I always get a little nervous when I have to move around ADRs or Fps last minute.... For example my dining plan will give me 8 table service credits... I accidentally booked 9 in the mist of all this lol.

it's all good .... fingers still crossed for ROL

I've done San Angel Inn and La Hacienda twice each. Both times San Angel was meh in both food and service and both times La Hacienda was excellent in terms of both. I actually prefer the ambiance of La Hacienda because I don't like eating in the dark, haha.

If you can make Tutto Gusto work, even just for a drink and a snack, DO IT. It's so (relatively) calm and quiet in there and we've always had excellent service.

Your plans sound wonderful, especially now that your sister will be joining you!

I'm excited for la hacienda .... the only thing is I know we are going to end up getting one of the meals that serve 2, and I will want the steak and he's gonna want shrimp LOL I'll probably sacrifice for a margarita ;)

Thanks so much!!
