Agreed. Kodak made high quality products back then. If you took care of the film or slides, they still look stunning 75 years later.

Whenever I see footage like this, I'm always struck by how small the trees were. The Rivers of America and the Jungle Cruise look almost barren compared to today.

On a side note, my brain got distracted by the title of the thread (1956) combined with the song in the second video (1979). "Wrong year!" "Wait, is there a song called 1956?"

Anyway, thanks for posting these! They're fabulous!
