I wonder if this will be part of the new Star Wars store that is replacing Fun Finds although I am not sure if the space is big enough for it.

Could this be going where Disney Quest was? Seems likely based on the type of building needed to host this attraction.

I remember the NBA experience was supposed to go in here but have not heard of any updates.

Interesting, Iger was saying he had no interest in VR earlier this year and said it wasn't coming to the parks. I guess it's different being at Disney Springs and Downtown Disney considering the guests probably won't have to pay too much (if at all?) to experience it. Curious to see where they place it.

Here is a review of The Void's biggest project to date w/ their Ghostbuster's VR Experience.

That should give people a good understanding of what Star War's VR experience might be like, as well as the price- for Ghostbusters at Time Square is $20 as an add-on to Madame Tussaud- or it is $50 as a stand-alone.

I think it will still sell like hot cakes and review very well- like Ghostbusters does. Me? I don't need to do it- but to be in a spot like Disney Springs, it will get tons of foot traffic from on-site and off-site guests alone. These are the types of attractions Disney needs to get the locals to the Springs more often to make a weekend out of it. In combination with the new restaurants that are doing tremendously well and the updated Cirque show- it seems like 2018 is going to be pretty bright for DS.

ETA- the more I think about this- the smarter a move this is. The droves of people that will flock to DHS in 2019/2020 to "Experience Star Wars" will want to incorporate this "new attraction" into the mix as well- bringing a huge amount of that traffic to Disney Springs.
Not bad thinking Disney, not bad at all.

NBA Experience is still going in, but if it doesn't take up the entire Disney Quest Footprint, this could go next to NBA.

Looks like this requires a pretty big space. I can't imagine where this would go at DS, unless it's something temporary that going to be setup in a tent in the parking lot. If this is being built from scratch I can't see it being done by the holidays.

The La Nouba building is closing and a new show hasn't definitively been announced, right? At least, I've not seen the official confirmation of a new show.

Not saying I wish for that to happen, but this would definitely be more of a profit center running 12+ hours a day as opposed to the 10-12 shows a week of a Cirque production.

La Nouba runs until the end of the year. The article claims this will be open for the holidays.

This looks pretty cool so I'm happy to see it... BUT:

There was a time where an attraction like this would find itself inside a park and be included in your ticket price (like Sum of All Thrills).

If this is free I'd do it (if the line wasn't too long).

If it's $20 I might try it once if the reviews are good.

If they charge $50 for this - HALF the admission price to an entire theme park! - I refuse on principle.
