Aside from the name being terrible in its own right... There's a reason no other Disney park or property was called "World." There are many Disneylands, and only one Disney World. That was a significant and deliberate choice. This is a decision made by people who do not understand Disney's history.

I actually thought the illusion that they submerged inside the caves was successful, and I don't remember noticing tracks. But my reference is DL's subs, so maybe WDW's had flaws that DL's don't.

The alley itself is really cool, and it's great to be able to see the launch. The issue I'm describing is that, unlike other non-fantasy-style roller Disney coasters (Everest, Big Thunder, Matterhorn, Big Grizzly, Sliding Sleighs...), you're being asked to just pretend that the track isn't there...

I think the only downside (but a significant one, IMHO) of connecting Animation Courtyard and RNR is it would mean that - for many guests, especially first-timers - the Tower of Terror experience will be diminished by not having the "approach" experience of seeing it from a distance at the end...

It works great at DisneySea (Mayan temple and all). And it was built before that movie and has no connection thereto. In fact, neither Indy ride is based on a movie, so this doesn’t have to be, either. But there are ancient Mayan temples related to reverence for animals, etc.
