On her own? Who knows. But this is a highly touted retheme of a greatly beloved attraction. This ride opening WILL drive business this summer. But Epcot can easily absorb crowds more than the other two parks.

I think it depends on how you use the dining plan. For us, it's a loss every time. We have never gotten full value out of getting it. We have used it in the past for pre-pay abilities and to budget. But we lost money on it.

It’s definitely less of a deal that the general room discount. But a lot of people don’t care. The Facebook groups are full of people touting the savings of free dining. Disney marketing wins again. 🤦‍♂️

I get what you're saying. But I wonder if Disney realizes that all their trackless systems shutdown several times a day for hats and ears dropping in the path of the vehicles and they want to move back to a more reliable system?

This has been my thought. It's also the same day the Encanto show starts at Epcot and the new meet and greets at AK. Sounds like they are trying to spread the crowds around the parks with new offerings because not everyone will get to ride that day.

The issue with a lot of coasters is throughput. Even the coasters with fast loading and 4 trains still struggle to get 1200 riders per hour. I'd say they need more people eating highly themed omnimovers to spread people out more.

While I am with you and will be sad to miss it in July of this year, I understand the other posters points as well. With the rain that comes every day in the summer, Test Track wasn't open every minute of every day of operations. I wouldn't be surprised if you told me that Test Track was closed...

Well that stinks. Going mid-July and was hoping to get a ride in before it closes. If this AND Rock N Roller coaster are closed for our trip…I don’t know what my daughter will do. 😭

There won't be any after hours for MK for December as they will have the Christmas parties going on. Lots of holiday events at the other parks too. Not sure how many there will be in December.

People that are fiscally irresponsible. I could definitely afford it if I wanted to, but the value proposition is not there and not worth it to me.

I think it’s close honestly. There has been a huge surge in merch popularity for Pooh lately. If you told me Stitch and Pooh are both outselling Mickey I wouldn’t even be surprised. I don’t see much Mickey or Minnie merch in schools TBH.

He is HUUUUGE right now in grade school aged kids. You cannot take a step in a school without seeing him on some type of product.

Conspiracies online point to June 10. New Communicore hall and Encanto show at Epcot. New meet and greets at HS and AK that day. Thought to try to drive crowds from the mess that could be MK that day.

So forgive my stupidity. But this thing has been going on for years now. Will this opening “finish” the plan and walls in Epcot will be gone (for a time being)?
