Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

We get there in a couple weeks and I'm very curious to see if the trend continues. I've been expecting normal (well, new-normal) Summer crowds. Should be interesting!

Gawrsh, I hope the WDW boycott starts in early June. We get there June 16th!!

Why I may not go again

Ain't THAT the truth. And that's why I hold no hope that Genie/Lightning will be gone anytime soon. Oh well...

Why I may not go again

Good point, and I'm not far from being old enough for that target market! Ha! I have no problem with some sort of accommodation for those with disabilities, or for special-needs kids. To me, that's something different.

    Best Marvel Ride in Orlando

I rode Guardians three times last week. It's by far the best of that list, and the others aren't even in the same zip code.

Why I may not go again

I rode Guardians three times, actually. Truly amazing. We were able to get boarding passes twice, and I got to ride one additional time as part of a baby-swap situation. We tried Genie+ one day and it helped on one ride. So we paid $15/person to go thru the Lightning Lane....once. So I'm...

Why I may not go again

We just got back last night after a great week...and our first visit since 2018. It was a big family trip: 11 of us (8 adults and 3 kids) with a bunch of first-timers. The best news - there is still magic to be found. This isn't the forum for a trip report, but we had a great time and there...

    MagicBand+ announced

The MB selection is so laughable right now, and has been for a while, that you just have to believe that pre-arrival MB+ will be online soon. Eleven of us going at the end of May, so I'd like to outfit those of us without Apple Watches with the new ones. Curious to see how it goes!

If anyone wants to boycott WDW please do so for at least a week starting in, say, 35 days. And tell a bunch of your friends to join you. That’d be great!! Hehehe…

Ugh, I guess that’s also true. I bet the locals are thrilled.

Yep, true. But a law that won’t survive judicial scrutiny. It won’t ever be implemented, and the politico’s will be able to fundraise off it and say how tough they were.

Political theater, nothing more. Rile ‘em up and get their donation money. Rinse, repeat. I’d never set foot in Florida if not for WDW.

Would you visit Walt Disney World with these health-based operational restrictions in place?

Pfft...no prob. Strange times. We were supposed to go on a big trip to the Grand Floridian this Saturday. 11 of us, been planning for years. Me, wife, 3 kids and their significant others, and three grandkids on their first trip. Our two sons are active duty military and are deploying later...

Would you visit Walt Disney World with these health-based operational restrictions in place?

Too true. I guess I thought that would be the model we'd have to use here too. I suppose that's not necessarily the case, but I can't really imagine another way to completely open.

Would you visit Walt Disney World with these health-based operational restrictions in place?

It's not just about masks. By any chance, have you watched that video of how Shanghai DL reopened? Wow...SO many restrictions. And as soon as a CM tells the wrong person where they need to stand, sit, when to move, and yes...to wear a mask? Watch out. And boy do I hope the worst is that...

Would you visit Walt Disney World with these health-based operational restrictions in place?

I didn't, and I never conflated people who don't like to wear a mask with those who refuse to. And certainly not with those who refuse to and then get violent about it. You are obviously not the type I was referring to. I can't stand wearing a mask, but like you...I do it on the rare...

Would you visit Walt Disney World with these health-based operational restrictions in place?

I have what I'm guessing is a very unpopular opinion...and I confess that I haven't scoured all 475 posts to see if it's been shared, (tho the recent posts about "Covid-trash" get close). Sorry if this poor horse is getting beaten again. The Shanghai model will not work in the US...

    Disney Dining Plus Plan

Yep, I know the policy just didn't ask it very well. Thank you! That helps, and probably means the new plan will work well for how we like to dine.

    Disney Dining Plus Plan

I read thru the thread and didn't really see what I was looking for, so I'll ask... Anybody know how the new plan affects signature credits? Do you get more table service credits since you now have access to 2 TS per day? With the regular plan, we have to budget our TS credits for our trip to...
