Well you come from the same time zone and take an early flight. There are several other times zones that are left out of that. The earliest I can arrive in MCO with a non-stop flight is around 4pm and that's getting on a 9am flight.

OMG! I haven't logged in here in a few months and the first thing I see is this. What stupid idea will Disney come up with next. Who the hell arrives early enough to spend a day at the water park? Booking a one night hotel stay to use water park just negates the whole free thing.

I think will find out over the course of the next year if this is just a WDW issue or if people are cutting back on travel in general. I think it's going to be the latter.

I think the difference is when you are in a city you have a variety of options from cheap to expensive. WDW you are locked in unless you have a car. I think cost and inflation are very relevant to attendance. I'm not sure how that's a side track. It's probably the single most relevant thing...

I always think of people who travel the world as adventurous. You don't always need a ton of money. I have middle-aged friends who still do the hostel thing in Europe. I couldn't do it I need my privacy.

I so agree. If you have the means to travel don't put it off to old age. Touring cities especially in Europe can require miles and miles of walking every day. European cities are not handicapped-friendly. I don't think I've ever seen a mobility scooter in Europe.

One can only hope. I was hoping to have an interesting conversation on the global economy and the effects it would have on WDW, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Maybe another day.
