Disney's Hollywood Studios to host an opening night event to celebrate the Force Awakens

I can understand that, even if it's not my thing. Looking forward to the movie when the crowds die down.

Disney's Hollywood Studios to host an opening night event to celebrate the Force Awakens

Wow, $95 to see a movie and go to Hollywood Studios for a few hours. Same movie you can see the following day for $12. I guess to some, seeing it first is very important.

Parking fees at Walt Disney World theme park increase effective October 4

Ok, everyone can look at it a different way, I agree. But you won't get towed for that. A family member was security at Disney for 22 years and did the parking booths and lot security at most of the resorts. No one was ever towed for this. I'm dropping the subject now. Just wanted to...

Parking fees at Walt Disney World theme park increase effective October 4

Ok, the resorts 'legally' let you park for free if you want to walk around and admire their shops and themed resorts, ask them, they will verify that. It's not a scam. A scam would be the hundred of thousands of people that used the old guest assistance card to not wait in line when they...

Parking fees at Walt Disney World theme park increase effective October 4

Drive up to any hotel, (at security booth) just say you want to go in and do some shopping, or eat dinner, or just look around because your thinking of staying there next time. It's not rocket science, people have been doing that for 40 years. Sometimes during very busy times of year...

Parking fees at Walt Disney World theme park increase effective October 4

Or...you can park for FREE at any of the hotels. Don't have to get valet AND don't need to be a guest.

    2015 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

I agree! But....could this be a sign of Disney requiring premium payment for most things that were once free? Adding desserts to viewing areas that were once free to watch fireworks/parades, or possibly paying premium to sit in better locations for shows? Just wondering...could this be...

    2015 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Been to the Halloween Party many times and the reason they sell out most nights is because they limit the amount of people in the park. And like other posts have noted, there are PLENTY of good viewing spots for the parade. So it comes down to $70 for desserts....not a good deal in my book. :(

Main Street U.S.A. hub redevelopment at the Magic Kingdom

I agree, I'm a fan of trees in the hub area as well. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Main Street U.S.A. hub redevelopment at the Magic Kingdom

Oh yeah, now I know what you mean, sorry. LOL But on the concept art photo, it sure looks like they are planning trees closer to the hub than I imagine they are going to do. Just on past experience, Disney removed many of the hub trees for firework viewing. And the concept photo shows many...

Main Street U.S.A. hub redevelopment at the Magic Kingdom

The 'concept photo' looks good, but I seriously doubt we'll ever see all those trees planted. :(

Free Event at Typhoon Lagoon for DVC Members July 23, 28 & Aug 4, 11

Pretty cool! That should make the DVC members happy. And I bet it's a 'trial' and if it goes well this summer they will do many more special things like this in the future. Don't screw this one up DVC members! lol
