Drive up to any hotel, (at security booth) just say you want to go in and do some shopping, or eat dinner, or just look around because your thinking of staying there next time. It's not rocket science, people have been doing that for 40 years. Sometimes during very busy times of year...

Or...you can park for FREE at any of the hotels. Don't have to get valet AND don't need to be a guest.

I agree! But....could this be a sign of Disney requiring premium payment for most things that were once free? Adding desserts to viewing areas that were once free to watch fireworks/parades, or possibly paying premium to sit in better locations for shows? Just wondering...could this be...

Been to the Halloween Party many times and the reason they sell out most nights is because they limit the amount of people in the park. And like other posts have noted, there are PLENTY of good viewing spots for the parade. So it comes down to $70 for desserts....not a good deal in my book. :(

Pretty cool! That should make the DVC members happy. And I bet it's a 'trial' and if it goes well this summer they will do many more special things like this in the future. Don't screw this one up DVC members! lol
