News Walt Disney World's iconic Twilight Zone Tower of Terror billboard to be permanently removed

Gone but forever in our hearts 😁. To those who are fatigued that every time Disney takes something away that people like me are upset. I understand why you are tone deaf and why you are over the negativity. I am realistic in my understanding of the “bottom line”. In my heart that doesn’t change...

News Walt Disney World's iconic Twilight Zone Tower of Terror billboard to be permanently removed

It’s been a loooong time since I commented on these boards but when my wife sent me this article… I know and understand why this would seem trivial and dismissive to some but to me seeing that sign after a long drive from NJ was one of those “you’ve finally arrived and now your vacation has...

    Ohana dinner

I read this forum before our trip last week and was scared the Ohana I knew from years ago was gone however don't believe every negative thing you read on the internet. I am not discounting any of the bad experiences anyone on this forum had but do want to share a very positive one we had. Our...

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

The unfortunate problem for you is that the majority of people buying tickets have the opposite opinion as your family does. Just look at the m&g lines. And how do you know your children won't enjoy the ride before even trying it? Or would people somehow enjoy it more if it were somewhere other...

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

What people need to look at are the Disney comp's highest grossing properties and how they are presented in the parks. It's not 1984 anymore and call me a heretic but none of us know what walt's vision would be for his company and for epcot in particular if he were here to have a say in it...

Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

Things need to change to stay relevant and you'll never be able to get everyone to agree with what change or how much is acceptable. When I was a kid we went about every 2 or 2.5 years to the world and every time there was something new to look forward to. I think if we saw the world through our...

Star Wars land to disneyland toontown?

Money being the root of all things, a successful 5th gate could provide the monetary resources necessary to bouy the needs of other parks. Not to mention that a fresh and attractive park option would be good for the attendance all of wdw resort as a whole.

Star Wars land to disneyland toontown?

It's going to be a huge cash property and, given the right park concept , could support it's own gate, imo.

Star Wars land to disneyland toontown?

My wife actually brought it to my attention for that reason. It makes it unlikely but considering the popularity not impossible to have a Star Wars land on each coast.

Star Wars land to disneyland toontown?

This is my first attempt at reporting or regurgitating news so forgive me if it's been posted or if I'm going about this wrong. It appears disney is announcing something this week regarding star wars land and it's not at hollywood studios...

DHS Soundstage 1 Renovation - Toy Storia Mania expansion

Only up to page seven and apologies if it's been mentioned but...how lame is the DCA monsters inc ride mike and sulley to the rescue compared to ride and go seek at Tokyo disneyland? I just watched both ride videos and while I get that the DCA ride is an overlay/replacement the difference of...

New monorail operating schedule to begin on September 27

Most unmagical part of our trip was parking at ttc for a pre park open breakfast at crystal palace with the hope of riding the monorail over only to be routed to a bus because neither the ferry boats or the monorail were operating yet. I'm sure walt had that in mind.

Worst people to be in line next to?

I'm talking about a 2yo in line for a kids ride like pooh or little mermaid. A 2yo who is just grasping language is expected to under the reasoning behind waiting in a line? We as a disney community can't have a little understanding of that? We get it that your family has some well behaved kids...

Worst people to be in line next to?

I couldn't say it better myself. Disney spent a lot of money putting interactive queues together so my point would be if we needed video games on space mountain from grown people how do we expect children to act while waiting in a 20 or 30 minute line?

Worst people to be in line next to?

It was all in good fun. Sorry if I rubbed you the wrong way. Have a nice day. Being scolded by Ross is what rubbed me the wrong way.

EDIT: And because this drives me crazy... Thanks, I'm really glad you needed to point that out. I look forward to your next post, "18 pages of grammatical errors, corrected."

Worst people to be in line next to?

Not all 2yo's respond the same to all situations. We just had this discussion today with our doctor on the heels of a few disney meltdowns last week. Good for you, really and honestly, if your kid responds to that kind of reasoning in the midst of a tantrum then you are lucky. But not all kids...

Worst people to be in line next to?

By all means please share with us this method you have for controlling a 2yr old's vocal cords so my child no longer screams! Seriously some of these comments are a direct reflection of how perfect some parents think they are, smh.

Worst people to be in line next to?

I think we can all agree children throw tantrums for many reasons beyond just being tired. We just got back from the world and my 2yo son would be upset just because he wanted to keep playing with the honey walls in Winnie the Pooh and that was our first ride of the day. IMO it sounds like some...

Is summer the new low season?

Yeah that just sounds crazy to me because our schools here in New Jersey don't start til a couple days past Labor Day but then again they also run all the way to the end of June.
