    labor day week?

It's been a few years since we went at this time, but, it was great! Probably the best time to go. No need to move it back any unless you want to try to hit Food and Wine later in September.

Right. Or: Hit morning EMH and then park-hop to another park where you already have scheduled fast passes for the afternoon.

Current Soakage Factor At Splash Mountain

Seems to me if you stay out of the first row, you can also avoid a little bit of the water. Here's hoping you get to ride it!

    Unpopular Disney Opinions

I think Maelstrom is dorky. I liked LeFou's Brew. I thought the gingerbread house at Grand Floridian was underwhelming. I like Indiana Jones Stunt Show and Great Movie Ride.

    Giving Up Summer Trips

We only go every 2 or 3 years. In the past, the last of May or the first week of June has worked pretty well. Now, though, for various reasons, we no longer want to go then. So now, I'm looking at January, right after New Year. Our kids typically don't start school until around the 8th or 9th...

Observation -- Making ADRs for one person

I did the same type of thing with a Candlelight Processional reservation at Via Napoli. I couldn't find a ressie for two but found one for three. I booked it and then called a couple of days prior and told them it would only be two. Had no problems.

The Age Debate (will they remember it?)!

It always depends on your family. 1. If it's that once in a lifetime trip, waiting until they're a little older is a wise choice. 2. How many children are in the family? We have 4; the oldest is 10 the youngest is 2. If we waited for the very first trip until the youngest was older, than...

    Shedding a tear

I've teared up in Hall of Presidents before also. I had not seen it in awhile because we kept going right after an election and it would be down to add the new president. Anyway, during the video, they show a president and then a tragedy that occurred while they were in office; Roosevelt WWII...

Just putting it out there, Sci Fi Dine In, anyone else feel like this?

We go in the afternoon and ONLY get milkshakes. Allows us to cool off a bit and enjoy the place without paying too much.

Well, it wouldn't be hard to miss. The Disney Food Blog only reviewed them in April of this year and now they're already gone!

    R.I.P Food Favorites

I think bourbon might be a better choice too. But since they removed them before I even got to try them, I'll never know!

    R.I.P Food Favorites

Drunken Donuts at the Territory Lounge: Freshly fried donuts that come in a bag where you add cinnamon sugar and shake. THEN they were served with a dipping sauce made of butter, maple syrup and Grand Marnier.

    Authorized Disney Travel Agents

I booked through Small World Vacations for my December trip. I debated as to whether or not I should even use an agency. I was doing a "room only" reservation, but, since I had never stayed on property before, I wanted to make sure that I didn't miss any discounts. So when fall discounts came...
