Here's my photo tip: Ignore those who do photography for a living. Their standards are much much higher than us mere mortals. Trying to live up to their standards will just keep you from enjoying taking pictures at Disney. If it looks good to you then that's all that matters.

I disagree. Disney is a place of fantasy, magic, whimsy, fun, and adventure. There is so much color and detail that it's the perfect place to be gimicky. Use that fisheye, do your HDR, tilt your horizons, and saturate your colors! Do whatever you want to capture the magic! If you want...

Nice but I think I prefer the first one. The first one looks more natural. The red/magenta in the second version is just too overpowering for me. ;)

Sorry to point this out but flash photography is prohibited on Pirates of the Caribbean. I can't even count the number times this ride was totally ruined for us by someone using flash. For the benefit of your fellow park guests please refrain from flash photography when it is prohibited...

For our 25th Anniversary in 2014 we're planning something similar except we're adding Europe with 2 days at DLP. My wife is currently figuring out the logistics and she thinks it's doable if we skip a 2013 trip. To the OP I say go for it!

Price. We always have a budget to work with based on the amount we've saved and set aside for vacation expenses since our last trip. We also keep our eyes open for room discounts or free dining. We've been able to stay at a mix of moderates and deluxes based on our budget, the deals available...

May is our favorite time to go because of Star Wars Weekends. The crowds at DHS may be a problem but if you're not Star Wars fans then just avoid DHS in case they schedule SWW during your vacation.

This is just awesome Allen. I'd really like to learn this method of fireworks photography for our next trip.
