Yes, the designated viewing area for Illuminations FP+ last December was an area roped off at Port of Entry. It was nothing spectacular. I was glad I didn't waste a FP+ on it.

During our trip last December, we had the Candlelight Processional Dining Package. It did "not" give us reserved seating for Illuminations. That's entirely separate.

The special last year for the 200.00/4 day tickets began selling in September 2014. They had to be purchased by December 31, 2014 and be used by May 2015. DVC members could buy up to 8. I know...I purchased all 8. It was pretty popular so I will not be surprised if it's brought back this year.

The villas will not take 20 months though. The entire resort was given 20 months from start-to-finish. Work began this past fall at the resort. I was there in December.
