Does an almost 5 year old need a stroller?

My oldest son is 5 and for our vacation this September we decided that we would leave his stroller at home basically because he doesn't fit into a standard umbrella stroller. (He is about the size of a 6 or 7 year old) If my son still fit into an umbrella stroller, I would let him ride. In a...

    Does anyone else do this?

I have days like that too. My DH is awesome and he edited our last vacation video, organized pics and made a complete vacation video set to our favorite Disney music. (It's about 1.5 hours long.) There are days we will watch the video and I pull out my Disney cookbooks, pick a dish to make, and...

    Dining advice

Liberty tree has been a family favorite of ours, but that was because many of our memories included their character dining which is long gone. If you have meat and potato type family members, no problems. We have always went with a large group and had few complaints about the food or the...

    booking agent mistake

I know the buses at least begin by 8:30am. A couple years ago I wanted to do some Christmas shopping before my hubby and kids were ready to leave the room. I left early and found that I had to waste time before the shops opened. Not much Christmas shopping completed before the kiddos arrived...

    Your favourite world at Epcot.

Love them all! I love the atmosphere around Morocco for really great pictures at dusk. My 5 year old son would say he liked it because of the Mo'Rockin belly dancer. I couldn't pull him away to see anything else after we stopped to watch.

Would you support the axing of the dining plan?

The Free DDP always seems to be a hot topic. I have gone to WDW with and without the plan and have noticed changes. Since the DDP started, choices have gotten fewer and of course prices have gone up. It started out having 3 courses, not just main course and dessert like it does now. Personally...

    PORS or CB???

We love Port Orleans Riverside atmosphere. It's our favorite moderate resort. If you are concerned about the closeness of the bus stops, check out the resort maps. You can let request which building you would prefer to stay. Many times, but not always, you can get the building of your choice...

So Many People going in September

The last week of September the crowds pick up because it is usually the beginning of the Food and Wine festival. Last year it was much busier because of F&W, Wine and Dine Half Marathon and the WDW 40th Anniversary all within the same week/weekend. The free dining offer has everyone wanting in...

    Your Favourite Resort! But Why?

Sorry, my mind was on food earlier. I was really hungry when I wrote the above comment. I meant to say my favorite resort is Wilderness Lodge. Obviously I enjoyed eating at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. Love the pool and watching the Electrical Water Pageant. Love when I hear the words...

    Your Favourite Resort! But Why?

Whispering Canyon. As a family and many times large group, we love smoked pork and family style dining with their Canyon Skillet. My kids love to watch other tables have ketchup bottles flowing over the table and the horse riding. Personally, I just enjoy walking in to the Wilderness Lodge...

    "BOMA" ?? Worth the Risk?

We love Boma's! While my family tries new foods often, we brought my Father in law who is a steak and potatoes kind of guy, and he enjoyed it. The flat breads and soups are wonderful! There are some more "normal" types of foods, but my advice is always to try something new. The desserts alone...

Can't wait to get tickets! I've been watching and waiting for at least a month now! I know patience is a virtue, but when it comes to Disney, I am too excited to wait! We will be going down September 16th - 21st and my boys are already trying to decide their costumes!

    Norway vs. Cinderella's Table

Totally agree about the CM for the day. Our Akershus experience, while I try to disregard parts, was why I enjoyed Cinderella's better. We had a large party and I was sitting at the table alone eating while the others in the party were getting food. Ariel came along and asked if she could just...

    Norway vs. Cinderella's Table

We like Cinderella's Royal Table better than Akershus. The food at Akershus was fine and I believe that Jasmine appears there and doesn't at Cinderella's. However, the Princess interaction and the atmosphere seems to be better at Cinderella's from our experience.
